If Playa de las Americas, then Hotel gala! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AVery pleasant hotel in the center of Playa de las Americas and still quiet. Shops, restaurants, bars (with live music in the evening) are within walking distance. Long Promenade with numerous souvenir shops etc. invite you to stroll and dream. Dark sand beach with umbrellas and pool chairs (in the summer surely very crowded-it's really small) is the nicest we could find. Long sandy beaches, you will not find in Tenerife!!!
The hotel is very clean, staff friendly and helpful. " " Superior the room including in-room safe, balcony (sea view), flat screen tv in the fifth floor was very pleasant. The furniture could be newer/modern but OK.
Breakfast and dinner were very varied and delicious.
The pool area was very pleasant and clean-towels and bed mat 1.90 €per person extra.
The sauna area was small but sweet about 15 €(too expensive)-entrance and unfortunately only until 18:00 o'clock open.
Evening live music (dance) in the hotel or evening program (various artists) was however rather for older guests from about 60 thought. They are available in large numbers-but " not " negatively affect the stay, but bring a degree of calm.
Conclusion: The hotel was to be recommended in any case, you should if possible a superior room with sea view (and higher floor) book. With this offer you 1 x daily free admission to the spa and bathrobe, slippers, and a fruit basket!
P. P. 1 light bulb in our bathroom flickered, this was by a maintenance man replaced on the same day!
