Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe were there at the beginning of December and had the luck (because hardly any guests were there), that we our dinner from the booked half board in one of the three onsite restaurants without internal extra charge eat. The starter and the dessert was in buffet form and the a la carte main course. Normally (when the hotel) you have a extra charge figures and as a guest with half-board you eat at the large buffet, which was there during our stay but not. The food was excellent, we had no complaints at all. Very varied with a large selection of main courses, tasty and fresh. Our waiter to the red glass and the water in the supplied Rotweinglas we want to forget. That's it. In the room the carpet could be replaced belongs. Had a few years on the embossment and the bath sometimes delimed. But that was it. A highly recommended hotel in a quiet location with good opportunities for shopping all around. Shuttle bus goes almost every hour free of charge to Funchal. What more could you ask for?
