As New Orleans is located near the Gulf of Mexico the weather is mild with a subtropical climate. The weather during the summer season from June to August is usually hot and fairly humid with temperature ranging from 20°C to 30°C. During the winter season from December through to February the weather is usually at its coolest with temperature ranging from 5°C to 15°C. Spring and autumn are fairly warm with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C.

Visa requirements

For non-US citizens it is required to have a Visa to enter the US. This can be acquired at your local embassy and has to be ordered prior to travelling. It is also necessary to bring a valid passport.

When travelling to New Orleans the nearest airport is the “Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport” which is located in Kenner.
