Various events take place throughout the year in Stuttgart. One of the most striking is the Christmas Markets in December: 250 stalls, a picturesque landscape enriched with lights and Christmas decorations make the Christmas market in Stuttgart one of the most attractive markets in Europe. A popular event in August is also the summer festival: A music and culinary delight.

Food

As in every city you can find restaurants of all kinds and for every taste. However here are some local favorites: Gaisburger Marsch, Laugenbrezeln, lentils with sausage, Maultaschen (ravioli) and onion pie. Of course the city has a great tradition for wine and beer.
