The air temperature in June is about 26 degrees, and temperatures reach up to 33 degrees. In September, the temperature drops to 28 degrees. Despite the heat, summer on the Aegean coast is relaxed, with the heat easy to stand.
Visa requirements
As regards to the customs rules, they are the same as in the whole of Turkey. When arriving, tourists must purchase a visa, which costs $ 20 or 15E. The visa is valid for 30 days and it is single use only. During the trip to Turkey, your passport must be valid for at least 6 months. Flying to the Turkish Aegean we recommend landing in Bodrum or Dalam.
Vaccinations
Traveling to Turkey, you do not need any type of vaccinations. In Turkey, the health service works very similar to ours. We have clinics and hospitals, public and private. Persons who are with an organized tour agency can always count on the assistance, staff who always tell you which surgery is best to call, your doctor or go to the hotel, but you must always remember that you have an insurance policy taken out by the office or in private, and always take this with you
Country and People
History
The Aegean is a beautiful region of Turkey, where the hills and the trees hide the mythical cities such as Troy, Pergamon, Miletus and Ephesos, one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world. During the reign of the Roman Empire, Ephesos was one of the largest cities in the world. Today, after excellent restoration, it reflects not only material but also great cultural wealth of the region. Farther south lies Priene, which has been characterized by, created by Hippodamusa of Miletus, a geometric outline. Miletus was an important cultural center with commercial and religious buildings. Didyma is located in a neighbourhood known for its unique temple dedicated to Apollo. The special climate of this region attracts many tourists, because here they will find wonderful beaches, the sea is often rough, and more cool than further south. For this, however, the coast offers a large variety of culture. Not only olive trees, blue sea and the ancient villages create a unique local character, among the Greek heritage.
Traditions and Culture
The Turks are very positive about life. Always smiling and willing to help. Turkey is an ideal place to relax for families with children, the Turks simply love children. Each child encountered by them on the street is endowed with a smile. Every child in Turkey is a treasure of the nation, therefore the visiting youngsters are greeted kindly. Islam plays a very important role in Turkish culture, because Muslims are the largest religious group in the whole of Turkey. Adherence to the Quran is regarded as sacred. Remember that when taking pictures you can not do so in military facilities. In mosques, women should cover their heads, and it is not proper for men to where short shorts or show their chest. Also do not enter the mosque in shoes!
Religion
99% of the Turkish population profess to Islam. Most of them are religious. The Turks of Shiite origin reside mainley in areas of south-eastern Turkey. The most important point of Islam, as well as in Arab countries is the belief that God is one and Muhammad is his prophet, pray five times a day, giving alms, fasting in Ramadan (the Muslim calendar, according to) and take place at least once a pilgrimage to Mecca. However, Turkish Islam is more liberal. During Ramadan, restaurants are closed but at night things come alive!
Getting around
By bus
The most popular public transport on the coast of the Aegean is really the same as in the whole of Turkey, that is - dolmusze. This "trips around Poland," plying between small towns and urban transport. Transfer dolmuszem is cheap, and prices are fixed, but you can always try to haggle. Best to pay a fee when alighting. If you are interested in further areas of trip you can take the bus, and sometimes there are problems, because not every man wants to sit next to a woman not his (talking about Turks), but these are usually short-term problems that can be a very fast way to solve strategic . By plane
The Aegean is very popular among European visitors and visitors from outside the European Union. Airports on the coast of the Aegean are mainly Dalam Airport and Bodrum. If you want to discover the area you can hire a car. Although this option in my opinion is a particularly brave:). Turks believe that Allah is responsible for their life , and what happens, or is about to happen is the will of Allah. That's why it often happens that Turkish drivers do not adhere the speed limits or traffic lights. Very often on the road, it comes down to who has the loudest horn. I suggest you rent cars in renowned companies and carefully read the terms and issues of car insurance and your responsibility. From Polish to Bodrum or Marmaris can be reached through travel agencies or on their own by buying a plane ticket. This can be done to select the charter airline or cruise lines. Both can be equally comfortable, and the same flight time is only about 3.5 hours, so it is neither long nor painful. If we are already in place, and we want to go in a different region of Turkey is no problem we can buy a ticket cruise on the plane, go by bus or rent a car. That's why it often happens that Turkish drivers do not heed the speed limits or traffic lights. Very often on the road, this takes precedence which is larger and has a louder horn, which gives you know that just coming up. Turks drive like lunatics and they need to be careful, but as we have eyes around the head, then we also Allah will care:). I suggest you rent cars in good companies and carefully read the terms and issues of car insurance and our responsibility. The travel package, a representative of a travel agency with which we take a trip always has to offer by the company that we can rent a car and is always a good idea to inquire exactly all the details. If we rent a car in the city are not necessarily guided by the lowest price. You must remember that car rental companies must pay the car loan. How do we take it for a song is no logic in this, and usually means it is something that saves on rent, and in this way we can lose on this. It is best to rent cars or hire a network known in the world. Depending on the time of the season and the company rents a car, the cost of such a loan can range between 60E - 50E. That price is also influenced by the size of the vehicle.
By taxi
Taxis are also available, and each has a taximeter, so when the driver take us to the place does not screaming from the ceiling price only gives us the price of the meter. We may also ask the driver to the taximeter does not involve the price and try to work it out yourself.
