Despite the fact that Tenerife is only slightly more than 2000 km ², its climate is quite varied. This is due to divide the island by high mountains (highest peak - Mount Teide - 3718 m). The north-eastern part of the island has a humid climate, with frequent mists and rain. The temperatures here are not so favorable, and often plażowaniu thermometer will indicate about 20 ° C. Therefore, banana plantations and terraced cultivation of vegetables and vines dominated the local landscape. Part of the south-west of the island has a dry climate. Temperature fluctuations are smaller, the average annual temperature is around 25 ° C. Of course, I am giving information to the coast - and above, this will be colder and more rainy. In Tenerife the season is always: D Why? Because the only difference in the weather between winter and summer months is such that at night, for example, in January the temperature can drop to around 16 ° C, where the summer never drops below 20 ° C. In winter, the rain may be greater.
