I travel a lot for business in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe and therefore I know, that one should not have large expectations. The hotel is however Maritza a disaster! Four Stars? It was probably a typo. The furniture in the room is not every man a matter of taste. The room is very dark, the read out during the day. The tv only one German program! Location
This modern hotel, lying beside the Maritsa River in Plovdiv, is located near the historic old town. The international exhibition centre and the business centre of Plovdiv are located nearby and the nearest public transport stop is directly in front of the hotel.
Facilities
Renovated in 2003, this modern hotel comprises a total of 300 rooms set over 12 floors, of which two are suites and 35 apartments. Facilities on offer include a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, lifts and a hairdresser. An air-conditioned restaurant and a bar cater take care of guests' culinary desires. There are parking spaces and a garage available for those arriving by car. Room and laundry services complete the offerings.
Rooms
The pleasantly fitted rooms are all air-conditioned and come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a minibar, a hire safe and a balcony.
