The hotel is small, therefore also very easy going kept. The majority of the guests use the Aida than kurhotel, accordingly is the food on Ayurveda coordinated. Us is choice of meals anyway, as we were all inclusive not prefer and country typical food. We used the hotel already for the 3. time to from there excursions with a local tour guide (mr.. S. a. Old hotel very dirty moldy and so on deluxe = dirty bath tub instead of normal shower!? Also had standard room! (better than deluxe, but more noise) Ayurveda = just a joke the special brazen rip-off! On day 1 we wanted to all inclusive ayu treatment book on site. My offer was 50' 000 lkr extra charge= about 380 chf. Luckily was the far from enough! To be precise 20' 000 lkr = about 150 chf. The positive first. The area was in the summer renovated. The showers renewed and new beds/mattresses purchased. The bedlinen was daily changed. I was in the framework of the hotel is in good condition 14 days. Of course the dishes were mostly or ayurvedic prepared. But who is a serious ayurveda course to make would like, is amazed, which toast, butter, jam, italian pasta dishes, fried eggs, sausage and bacon on the buffet to seek. The medical care was simply a joke, the so-called ayurvedaarzt had still terribly bad teeth. Not a good sign. And then the noise. In the ... morning early already the first diesel train in the volume of a helicopter. The worst however is a new schedule disco next door, the every friday until 4:00 a. m. any sleep prevented. Next to the hotel is a ditch had been dug out. Building activity in the near future is to be expected. In the hotel there were 20 times more staff than guests. Everyone expected tips, because the basic salary is very low. Good performance will be provided, if the flows tip. Not the other way round, as it should be. There is no trinkgeldtopf, from the consistently to all staff should be distributed. The trinkgeldangelegenheit quick to stress factor for the guests. Became straight 3 waiters paid, come as geisterhand three new from the cellar, the also be acknowledged want. What do i need 6 waiters at the table? I will not go over there any more. Us is choice of meals anyway, as we were all inclusive not prefer and country typical food. We used the hotel already for the 3. time to from there excursions with a local tour guide (mr. S. a. Very recommendable) something to do. The beach is some minutes on foot away, the absolutely deserted beach to reach one takes a tuk tuk for 300 Rupees(about 2, -€) and runs in the direction ocean ... view restaurant. Training of the ayu staff = 0% according to confirmation of the ayu doctor with diploma which he was not wanted to present (could). ...!? The buffet was very simple, in the most less food made for. Very inconsistent on statements of the staff. Pineapple no ayu but not always! On my question, whether i beer can consume = alcohol absolutely 100% frowned on prohibitions and just in restaurant Aida expensive to enjoy. On 30 december the question all the guests, whether we new year's eve a bottle of wine deliveries. I refused! On 1 january evenings wanted a visiting couple brought the open bottle of wine ready consume from the manager strict was prohibited, because yes absolutely 100% nothing alcohol was announced. On 28. and 29. december was beside estate disco with dj announced. Around Base of a very special kind. At two days ended the spectacle to about 5.30 am. The volume amounted to about 140 db = estimate. Our skin and window actually vibrated the whole night. Absolutely no sleep possible. In the hope that a little too steams i am personally about 20 pm to disco and asked a bit silent to acted. To midnight i went to the front desk with the manager to clear up which possibility is, that something silent could go. Answer we can do nothing! 4:00 on i tour operator called around me complaints. Conversation on the next day with manager and tour operator. The manager offered the whole week without penalty up back reimburse to leave, as we the hotel wanted to change. Towels only on insistence changed, or simply again in the bathroom put up to dry. Towels were in the evening collected and neatly folded at this on the next day back to the guests to spend and this again picked you on the 2. day again. The towels-towels meadows tastes other sweaty persons on, as well as massage oil the rough sort of. So we had to stop the last 3 days in the Aida still bearable. The management the environment to love the towels but several times to use and not every day wash to leave. Perfect for stinky laundry. There were still 3 days canceled without penalty up. I 100% not satisfied with this task, because i resigned and as quickly as possible the hotel to leave, in the hope it again great to have. read hotel review

If you don't need action and in a 'wellness hotel' let yourself be pampered would like to is in the right place here. We have no cure but us nevertheless very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and was pleasant for us, that the hotel not fully booked and most of the others guests a cure made, the simply also only relaxation wanted. Our room was on the ground floor very quiet to the garden back. The garden with the pool is a peaceful oasis and if you want to do more, the in the direction beach the facilities of ... the large bentota beach -hotel use. A tour of 2a 3 days on the south of the island is very recommendable. We were privately with a very nice travel guide on the way, costs a bit more but is worthwhile definitely. Itself rent a car should be very, very relaxed driver (completely chaotic driving is on the left). You can also passes calmly times for one walk on the river or through the villages and of the often very pushy ' tractors' discourage. read hotel review
