• Location
  The hotel is built right on the edge of a natural bay just a few metres away from the sea. It is located on the north coast of the picturesque island of Crete, close to Heraklion, almost directly in the centre of the island. The area was home to the Minoan civilization, an ancient Cretan culture that represents a stage in the development of the Aegean civilization.
• Facilities
  The hotel is set in attractive gardens with 110 whitewashed bungalows designed in order to ensure exclusivity and privacy, with the gardens sloping away from the 26 rooms towards the main building, and down to the long sandy beach. The Aegean village atmosphere prevails in this delightful hotel which offers a high standard of accommodation in a tranquil setting. The bungalow complex also comprises a 24-hour reception and a garage. For younger guests there is a children’s playground and kids’ club. Internet access and room and laundry services are also provided.
• Rooms
  The bungalows are scattered around the colourful garden and come with a bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, ceiling fan and individually regulated air conditioning and heating. Other features include satellite TV, a fridge, safe and a large terrace with a breathtaking view of the Cretan Sea. The rooms in the main building have the same amenities and the majority have a balcony with sea view. Both the rooms and the bungalows have been tastefully furnished and designed for a relaxing, top quality holiday.
• Sports/Entertainment
  The hotel offers a main swimming pool with sea and fresh water, a swimming pool in the family bungalows area which is heated during the low season and a children's pool also with sea and fresh water. Water-based activities offered include aqua fit, waterskiing, jet skiing, windsurfing, banana boating, canoeing and pedal boating. For a fee guests can try diving, sailing, horse riding, golf or can use the hotel's gym. Tennis, table tennis, pool/snooker, basketball, volleyball, minigolf and archery are also offered. • How to get there
  From the airport: take the Senetaki road, which starts at the airport exit and which leads to the first E75 underpass. Turn left onto the E75 following the signposts for Aghios Nikolaos. Stay on the E75 for around 3 km, until reaching an EKO petrol station. About 200 m after the petrol station turn right at a road sign for the Old National Road. At the second E75 underpass, leave the E75 and take a narrow winding road that leads directly to Kokkini Hani. The hotel is located on the left, across from the seafront.
