We were with a bus tour on the way. As the tour operator the organization has taken over, I can over a-in and check-out not say much. The hotel makes an old impression, everything makes and seemed musty. Only exceptions are the lobby, the restaurant and the bar. The room makes on the first glance no bad case, but the wallpaper and curtains were outdated. New furniture and flatscreen tv polished the results. The bathroom is extremely small and dark. The mountings and equipment are old and leaky. Here is a renovation urgently necessary. What I personally disturbed us the most was the noise. … read more

Have as a part of a round trip mount royal and felt very much at ease. It obviously only round trip tourists, is part of the Alberta ubiquitous Brewster -tour operator. If you the hotel is one in the middle in the happening, shops, restaurants - everything in the immediate area. The hotel is quite large and above all long stretched-partly so long ways. The room was already a bit older and run-down, but clean. A broken lamp in the bathroom was within minutes exchanged. Location is great centrally located in town. The hotel is completely okay! You can use free behind the hotel guest parking. From the hotel room one has great view of the mountains. Behind the hotel is also for the ski bus. Would book this again anytime! … read more

    This hotel is located in the world-class resort town of Banff, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, set amongst the majestic mountains in the protected landscape of Banff National Park. The hotel is situated on Banff Avenue in the midst of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. The local Banff Transit buses operate along Banff Avenue and Calgary International Airport is the closest airport, just 90 minutes away by car.

    This family-friendly fully non-smoking ski hotel is a small, quaint historical property built in 1908 and recently renovated. Each of the 135 rooms is richly decorated to reflect the charm of the brick exterior. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, lift access, a hairdressing salon, a bar, a pub, a restaurant, conference facilities and Internet access. Guests may also take advantage of the room and laundry services and the hotel provides free parking for guests. Furthermore, the Concierge can help guests to plan many of their outdoor activities.

    The rooms feature all the comforts of home and offer guests a choice of 2 queen-size beds or 1 king-size bed along with a table and 2 chairs, and an en suite bathroom. Parking is available just off of Caribou Street at the rear of the building. Banff Transit operates a scheduled service in the town.
