The staff was helpful and courteous. With english communication was possible without a problem. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. Unfortunately i could in the hotel no change money, although the service in the hotel offered.For dinner there was the main buffet style with huge selection, appetizers and desserts were brought. All in all a very delicious food in an open-air restaurant. For breakfast there was no buffet, but you could have your breakfast from the usual Mexico-selection menu (eggs, omelet, cereal or hot breakfast). Large, sprawling city hotel (probably for business and tourists thought), long distances; large, very nice pool with many hammocks and pool bar; large, open restaurant. Our group arrived late and went early again from, so i can over the area no answer. The hotel is loud and noisy; i heard term banging and repeatedly maschinengeräusche. Big room, small bathroom with a separate toilet ; a bit shabby. No safety deposit box, no mini bar, old crt tv. Also the wifi does not work. Dinner and breakfast in choice and quality ok, but largely to completely desireless staff. No far recommendation because of the noise. … read more

We have made a Mexico-trip and our travel agent booked this hotel has for us. We were for two nights in the hotel. The five star hotel after Mexican review you could be up to 4-star hotel, three by German standards. The hotel is something outside of the center. The centre of Palenque we have not seen, since it according to our tour guide is not attractive. In the grounds of the hotel had three alligators and turtles in a common area, parrots and monkeys, as well as a free current iguana. Located just 10 minutes from the archaeological zone, this hotel is situated about 1 km from the centre with its countless shops. The hotel is also situated close to a selection of restaurants, bars and nightclubs as well as a link to the public transport network and a taxi stand. The forest and the tourist centre are around a 10-minute drive away. A lake is around 30 km from the hotel and Villahermosa airport is some 130 km away.
Facilities
This comfortable hotel was renovated in the year 2005 and comprises a total of 72 rooms of which 3 are suites. Facilities include a 24-hour reception desk, various shops, a safe and a currency exchange desk. Also to be found within the hotel is WLAN, Internet access and a conference room. Dining options include a bar and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant serving international cuisine. The hotel also provides a doctor on call, laundry facilities, as well as room and laundry services. A bicycle cellar is also available. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park.
