The hotel didn't deserve 4 stars. After entering of the hotel makes this a 4-star -impression. Relatively fresh and new the front desk and the entrance area. Also the restaurant should some be renovated not long ago. At the check-in, the was very slow, was minimally English spoken, attempted us a ' superior -room' with supplement to sell. This we did not want to, as with over 100/ Euro ever night our budget was reached in the room. The hotel is excellent. It is located a metro station from the Placa españa and is therefore superbly located. The next metro station is 200 metres walk vicinity. There you can at the line number 3 rise. This line brings in 5 stations (about 7 minutes) to the Placa Catalunya, where the rambla and all shops are. To the beach one must transfer once, reaches one about minutes.
The hotel has a roof terrace on the 10. floor with a pool, restaurant and bar! It offers a amazing views across Barcelona, beautiful up there to lie and relax!

The welcome at the reception was very polite friendly warm and fast. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpfull. Towels service at the pool. Staff at reception spoke very well english and some german. The rest of the staff spoke sufficient english.There are 2 restaurant/bars one on top of the roof with great view. Hotel with pool in this location second to none.
The nearest metro station is only a few minutes away. After a busy day of sightseeing adults and kids can on the roof in the pool and just relax, before plunging in the nightlife. … read more

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel for a few does longer than 2 weeks.
Straight from the check-in we knew that this hotel was of goood quality.
We were served straight away with none of that spanish glum tardiness you may get at clothing stores and grocery stores.
The rooms (executive) were really good and spaceous - and in good shape! Only complaint is that the room had an old Grundig TV which should by now be changed to an LCD/LED TV. The TV also had that sort of 'tinning' sound that old TVs have.
