• What the hotel offers
  Hotel Emma: your low-radiation health resort in South Tyrol. Hotel Emma in Niederdorf/Villabassa is situated right in the heart of the Dolomites and offers you history, tradition and style. Our hotel has kept its charm throughout the years and brings you true South Tyrolean hospitality combined with healthy cuisine. In addition, we have given a special focus to healthy living and quality of life, as well as a modern Wellness area with a Jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, steam bath and solarium. All our guest rooms are low-radiation. Some are fitted with period furniture, while others feature modern furniture made of larch wood.
• Location
  Niederdorf/Villabassa is located in the midst of the Dolomite region at an altitude of 1,154 metres above sea level. It is only 5 minutes away from Toblach/Dobbiaco, 10 minutes from Innichen/San Candido and 20 minutes from Bruneck/Brunico. It is the first Kneipp-for-me ® adventure village and offers a Kneipp activity park, outdoor inhalation area and drinks pavilion. During the winter, the mountains invite you for some cross-country skiing, Alpine skiing, ski tours, snow-shoe hiking trips and much more. During the summer, the Dolomites can be discovered during walks, Nordic Walking tours, hiking trips, cycling and mountain bike tours, as well as climbing trips. Our hotel organises guided cycle trips five times a week.
• Food and Drink
  Healthy cuisine – healthy body – healthy spirit Restaurant Schwarzer Adler – the first guesthouse in Villabassa Schwarzer Adler was the first guesthouse in Villabassa. Opened in the 15th century, philosophers, scientists and other academics and summer guests from the hogher echelons of Austro-Hungarian nobility visited the guesthouse. Under the management of the renowned tourism expert Emma Hellenstainer, the guesthouse became popular for its exquisite cuisine. Guests were spoiled with healthy food already back in Miss Emma's day! This tradition has been preserved up to date. Whenever possible we use home-grown products or products from organic farmers from the surroundings, who we know in person.
