We were - due to the overbooking our booked hotel - for 2 days in this "dump" placed by the hotel and I can only dissuade. Alone the condition of the room we were so disgusted, that we use of the hotels only limited to the most basic needs. Hairs everywhere on the floor around ( not our! ), The sheets had stains on them - as a result we had views of the mattress dared --- yuck … --- were huge ( blood? ) Stains. Mess! Stayed for two weeks at the beginning of July Mare Monte Beach. It was a great holiday!!! The staff, the food and service was very good. This is the third time we have our summer holidays on Crete in this hotel, and were absolutely loved every year ( and relaxed)! We enjoyed the beginning bad reviews on this site bit worried the hotel else in ( we remembered in good one) and it also can recommend without hesitation this year! We arrived as a family of 5 and are in all areas, whether entertainment, cleanliness, food, service, location, etc. Really satisfied.
