• What the hotel offers
  Novotel Amsterdam City is undergoing a true metamorphosis. All 610 rooms have been renovated and now the focus lies on transforming the rest of the hotel. New function rooms are being added for congresses, events and meetings for up to 1000 delegates. The existing restaurant and bar facilities make way for a modern catering area to satisfy all tastes and occasions, ranging from formal to informal dining in small or large groups. Renewed fitness facilities and ultra-luxurious wellness area, featuring aromatherapy showers and reclining chairs, are being added. As a result of the metamorphosis Novotel Amsterdam City is the only 4-star hotel in the area able to offer a group of 450 delegates bedroom, dinning and meeting facilities on one location. To minimize any inconvenience for our guests, the renovation of the hotel is being executed in two phases. The first phase, which is currently completed, includes the replacement of the hotel’s façade, the build of the congress centre and the refurbishment of the reception and lobby area. The second phase, that has already started, consists of the expansion of the restaurant and bar area, the creation of a wellness area and the addition of a light effect to the hotel’s exterior. The new individual reception counters offer a high level of personal service. Comfortable lounges allow guests to meet-and-greet or just sit down and relax. There is also an IMac corner outfitted with four computers stations and a temporary restaurant. This restaurant is opened daily from 6 AM to 12 PM and offers dining possibilities from every cuisine and for every taste.

  Novotel Amsterdam City is a modern, international, 4-star hotel located in the commercial centre of Amsterdam, next to the Amsterdam RAI and near the World Trade Centre. The train/tram/tube station RAI is nearby allowing you to be in the shopping heart of Amsterdam within 15 minutes or at International Schiphol Airport within 20 minutes.   The hotel offers 610 so called Novation rooms, characterized by their contemporary design, with an extra long bed (2.10m) with duvet, a fully equipped bathroom, a mobile desk with large working space and a comfortable sofa. The hotel rooms feature the following amenities: individual air conditioning, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, TV with entertainment system, a private extra large safe, able to fit laptops, a direct dial phone with voice mail service, WiFi and a modem connection. Novotel Amsterdam City also has executive rooms and a spacious suite which are equipped with a king size bed, an extra large bathroom with floor heating, bath robe and bath slippers.

  In order to maintain a high quality of service throughout the renovation the hotel has created a temporary restaurant. This restaurant is located in the banqueting rooms of Novotel Amsterdam City en is open daily from 6 AM to 12 PM. When the metamorphosis on the hotel is completed it will offer a wide variety of bars and restaurants.
