As I definitely a hotel wanted, where the Wien-feeling really exists, I voted for the Imperial Vienna decided. That is what I really didn't regret it! It is a really beautiful hotel. Since I am a travel agent, I could also different rooms look and was really impressed. A room nicer than the other. Unfortunately I could the suites for example the stars not look at, but it was rather due to the fact that all really were fully booked. Located directly in the ring and two minutes walking distance from the opera, the hotel is located. It has a glance of the past time. We were given a SPG platinum members an upgraded room Elisabethen-suite with pinkem substance. The food was found pretty good. I would pay but the very high rates of over 1' 000 euros per night not. I wanted to book a special highlight of the hotel Geschenkes and was not satisfied with my choice. Without doubt this is great, with a historical background and a tradition. This luxurious city hotel is located close to the state opera house, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the famous shopping avenue Kärtnerstraße. Public transport is just a short walk away and the train station is a 20-minute walk from the hotel. In addition, Vienna airport is around 20 km away.
