When we arrived we were warmly welcomed. The check-in and we only had to sign documents were already prepared. Afterwards we could refer our room (84). We loved the large room, and the gigantic bathroom. The garden area and the pools were very nice and well maintained. At the beach it had sufficient beach chairs would actually, if they are not already been reserved early in the morning but then still not been used. The beach was very nice and the water quality very good. The quality of the food was excellent, apart from the breakfast however unfortunately not the ... variety. As we had 2 stars hotels with a less selection. The 2 day we had a problem with the. toilet flush and mani complained. The problem was fixed within an hour. I asked the lady of the tour operator, as the tips will be handled. They told me at the end of the vacation the something in which we should give trinkgeldpool of the staff. But that was a big mistake, because the staff get the money until the end of the year. It is better to give the staff a bit during the stay, then one gets the better places in the restaurant and also much prompt service. read hotel review

Very good location for a beach holiday. Staff are amazing and there to help you with everything. Food quality and variety were excellent. Catered well to special dietary requirements. Beaches and activities were good. read hotel review

We stayed over new year in the Lux Le Morne. Unfortunately, we were already hugely disappointed. Instead of our original us paid bungalow the highest category we were in a room the deepest category bundled. Only the following day we could the paid bungalow relate. They wanted to give us with a massage fob. When we on the repayment of the money were, we only the half of the annual fee offerrieren receive. The new bungalow was so far correct however, the upholstery on the terrace stained and you may not be without a towel to sit. Likewise, all the ... towels - no matter, whether on the beach or in the bathroom - stains on. The food was less than edible and tasted everything in about the same. With 135 Euro invoiced 'gala dinner' on Sylvester was simple an impertinence. Individual courses were simply not edible. Genäss menu we would have in this expensive 7 course menu not time meat or fish can be. Luckily this is probably someone noticed, but was then pushed menu not with the aufgetischten food match. The staff with a few exceptions very slow and sometimes simply rude. The gym is for a 5 star hotel very rudimentarily equipped. All in all you feel like you are in this hotel as a 'cash cow' and not as a guest. After a week we moved to hotel troux aux biches and could say, that it on Maritius also hotels are, where you as a guest feel can. read hotel review

We have from 19,11.-2-12-13. holidays in Le Morne spent. That was my husband 5 days and i myself 2 days sick. Various other tourists have reported to us, that they also were ill with vomiting and diarrhea. Then we noticed, that the many birds, in and around the dining room are, regularly on the food sit and choose carefully. This is very unsanitary and has probably helped, that so many vacationers get ill. I have the stellv. Manager told, from sick people he knew nothing, but the vogelproblem is known. And it has been this worked. Otherwise we ... liked the hotel, that there is so much rain, that's nobody's fault. The island was very green. read hotel review

Dream place to spend tropical holidays

Hotel is located in fabulous place on Le Morne peninsula, next to beautiful beach and lagoon. Rooms are located in two-floor buildings surrounded by coconut palm trees. Looking from boat, the buildings are almost invisible among palm trees. We were located on ground floor in five-rooms building. Our room was spacious, with separate dressing room and really big bathroom. Equipment and furniture is not brand new, but well maintained. Room was cleaned twice a day. There was a lot of staff which was extremely polite. Hotel area is spacious, quiet and well maintained – we never felt crowd in any ... area, no problem with finding sunbed close to the beach. The area is almost “insect-free” – we never seen any mosquito, fly or cockroach, only some ants and a few wasps. Guests can choose from many types of free water sports including pedal boats, kayaks, surfing boards, etc. Overall, I think it was one of the best hotels in which I stayed in my life. Tip: take all inclusive option if possible (as we did) - drinks to meals are extremely expensive, and there is no shops and bars in walking distance. read hotel review
