First I would like to say, that I the part. Very bad criticisms in such reviews over this hotel can't confirm. One must realize oneself, where one goes. No suite! You will get a normal double room with sofa! If you a different room wants, must one 55 $per persons and night pay! Total abzocke if you go on excursions want! German are not gladly seen and will be partly not served! With us into the room rained, after complaining only a towel on the floor! Urine stains and restaurant on fresh bed sheets! Poor Service, especially in the First Club. Watch out for rude ladies who would prefer for you not to be there. If you make any complaints, they ignore you. Many people had broken air conditioners, rooms not available, and no one trying to help. I've been a member for 6 years and never experienced such poor customer service. If I experience this at any other location, I will be forced to sell my membership, as it is not worth it to be treated the way we have all been treated. And, our friends were stuck in a room with NO ... AIR for an entire week. They just shrug their shoulders. We were also ripped off on a cab ride (watched the security guard take a bribe to take us somewhere we could not go with kids - $75 round trip for NOTHING). Terrible experience. We are now to 2. time in this hotel and couldn't complain about anything. Were 2007 and 2013 a 2 time. From our view nothing much has changed, hotel area as everything good still. Clearly there are some deficiencies and there few flaws. But no matter where one looks it we always much repaired and remodeled. read hotel review

    We were in the house 10 under and had it most you're to the beach but everything was very easy to reach about 3-4 minutes away airport was a half an hour. Shopping is right in front of the hotel is not far away. But often offered much too expensive, it is action announced one can directly with half begin zuhandeln.

    Were 2007 already since at the beach there were not yet so many showers now which we loved. Evening shows we had not so often saw, because they have started late and our small there already always tired. Beach chairs on the beach were always enough there to reserve without.

    The whole food as the drinks were simply great. There was always something for everyone there. The service at hotel harmonie was amazing, indescribable. We have a time with where the hygiene there was nothing to complain about. Here and there 1 Dollar tip worked miracles. It is no wonder what the monthly wages have.

    Service throughout the hotel from the maid to the gardener, all very friendly. We had a great room and as to a great cleaning maid was always very nicely arranged with flowers and swans and of our smallest the kucheltier very nice. We customers not much english and still all super understood.

Nice hotel but the food was after a week rather bland, as more selection and the taste something different flavour and, for example, in the evening outside food. It is only in the evening at the hall which the matter otherwise you had your peace. For cheap to get you to go out of the hotel, because in the hotel it is very expensive. The beach and the sea is like a dream, otherwise on the beach rather little shade one must in the morning around half 6 lounge chairs to reserve a shady place otherwise is all day long ... in percussions the sun but in general a nice hotel, but a bit worn out read hotel review

Once a dear hello to all our evaluation read ☺ I can only positive things to say. Of course you know, that the standards in the Karibik and Europa are not the same. Thus can i some very negative reviews not understand. I was very often in the dominican republic and of all i liked this occidental the best ☺ The hotel is in great condition. The check-in was fast. Due to that i speak spanish is a lot easier, but at the reception there were 2 german-speaking staff. Otherwise almost everywhere english spoken. The hotel is relatively large. There ... is a big pool with pool bar. Carribean like is definitely. Everywhere there were small flats with rooms, also a 'royal club' for vip guests with more comfort. Among a abgesperrter beach area. We were just regular guests and everything was great. The employees are very friendly. Everywhere staff. It was always ensured, that at the pool and in the garden area everything was clean. The hotel is very well located, 10 minutes walk is the bavaro -Plaza or a internetshop where you internetkarten to buy can. Smaller local bars are in the more immediate vicinity to find. Wi-fi worked for me unfortunately not. I was with my boyfriend, my mother and girlfriend. We had 2 rooms in block 12 were next to each other. Really great location, not too far from the beach and not far to the front desk/restaurant. The restaurant is located in the lobby. It was beautifully air-conditioned ☺ On the weekend there were lots of locals (friday to don.) Then it was quite full. From young to old is everything.     From the airport one drives only about 20 minutes to the hotel. Direct nearby you will find the bavaro Plaza, some smaller shops, internetladen around phone cards to buy... Directly at the entrance of the hotel is the disco mangu, great atmosphere, especially at weekends. It is of course much Merengue, Bachata, Salsa and so on. Played, but also some charts... The einrtritt was free and drinks until 1 am. Except for beer... I would always recommend (if you're not afraid) the mopeds partake... The is cheap and fun. And the dominicans are also very nice...

    As i said, the main restaurant was just off the lobby. Nice air-conditioned. The breakfast buffet was always delicious. Different types of bread and rolls, cold cuts of sausage/cheese, a private crepes-station where you in the morning, at noon or evening crepes made could ☺ mega delicious. Also in the morning, there was hot food, süßkrams and much more. In the afternoon you could either eat there or at the restaurant, which was at one of the pools was. Also more delicious, only somewhat less selection than in the main restaurant. You could also for the à-la-carte restaurants. They were all at the hauptbühne. (white flight of stairs). Nice view, nice restaurants. We were only mexican food. Really recommendable. There were also italian, dominican... On some days there was a group of dominicans to the restaurant, for very little money on table sang. This was really nice.

    In the animation program i did not participate, but i have with flagship seen, that much was offered, so that everyone on your costs can get. From Volleyball, aerobics, dance, games, and so on. The disco mangu is the hammer. On weekend many locals. Free entry and drinks until 1 am, except for beer. It is situated directly at the hotel entrance. Also nice air-conditioned. In the evening there was always shows and games. Must see. It's worth it. Beach chairs at the beach there is actually good, we had against 8 our towels were already down, so our favourite location also could.

    The staff was always very friendly, in the restaurant as well as outside. The rooms were cleaned daily, but only if the card to the normalled saying that ☺ I sometimes have money put on the bed, then we had the greatest handtuchmotive. Super nice. Almost all understand english... Spanish all the more better ☺

    The rooms are large and spacious. Of course you can't expect, that you have a super elegant room after the standards of Europa cards will take place, but it is clean and everything functioned perfectly. Clearly the furniture was a bit worn, but it was clean and that was the main thing. The bathroom is large, but our ' bathtub easy wrong and the water always has collected ☺ but it can't everything needed to be just perfect. There was a minibar, which was restocked each day... Cola, Sprite, Fanta and beer...

Rooms are renovation needy. Absolutely tired furniture, saggy beds, very dark room; always again you had no water for showers; pool very unappetizing by drunk guests, the their cocktails poured into the water have, in the other pool was in the afternoon always a very nasty slimy mass at the edge; tiles quite broken; attention: very aggressive seller in the 'occidental vacation club' this is the time sharing program of the hotels; pure lies, no warning given by the tour operators TUI - not go! the food was poor ok; no fish, little typical country, always hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta ... and chicken hung us after a couple of days sick TUI-excursions were very expensive, all other offerers are usually in spanish or english; on the weekends the hotel was firm in latin american hand. As the german on weekends at the Ballermann drives, come dominicans and other party-goers to occidental, during the day at the pool bar and at night in the of the well known disco. This vast number of young people, it was so loud in the restaurant. read hotel review
