The staff were very friendly. At the front desk they spoke good English. There one gets also a very gutebn city map. At the breakfast buffet they spoke almost exclusively Italian.There is a breakfast buffet.
The coffee will be warm decor. Early in the morning tasted it, later not really. For this however, you can always delicious Cappuccino order (free of charge).
The small buffet consists of:
Bread, rolls, toast, croissants, jams, nutella, muesli, self made fruit salad, yoghurt, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, orange juice, water, cookies and cakes...

We were now to second time in this hotel. Unfortunately are the standard rooms very small - however for a short stay in Rome nevertheless acceptable. The rooms and bathrooms were for our last stay in 2008 now renovated. Wi-Fi free of charge, as well as the daily 4 bottles mineral water 0.5 liter. The rooms on the inner courtyard - we had 316 are quiet. 200 meters from the hotel is also the tram stop. 2 stops and you are at the piazzo del Popolo. We had the hotel Astrid for 5 overnight stay with breakfast and were very satisfied. The room was rather small however very comfortable and stylish and very clean. The bathroom was also in good condition. The quality and the variety of the breakfast buffet felt positively surprised!
