The hotel Lux is different than the usual hotels. Check-in and check-out takes place at the bar instead of. A front desk in the sense does not exist. I found original and didn't bother me. The rooms are rather small kept. Room 14 had no telephone, was but very clean! The room service must be self service. The staff at the bar and in the restaurant were attentive and very friendly. Hotel lies directly at the marienplatz - but apart from that well - my room was very small - approximately 12 meters² - the doors can only be obtained by slamming shut, no doorknob- solid noise in the course of the late evenings/ night, if other guests came home - room to the inner courtyard also very noisy, because down kitchen of the restaurant and until at least 1:00 A. In advance: I have the hotel as a part of a business trip visited. A night, room on the first floor. Guest parking in the nearby located parking garage.
When I the hotel entered I was suddenly in a bar. I was on the barkeeper excused and front desk asked. Really funny reaction of the bartenders.' here you are already correctly, the bar is the front desk'.
