On our new Zealand trip we stayed here our third stop and were very pleased with this hotel. Located near the octagon, are all important locations in Dunedin from the hotel within easy walking distance. Our room was very spacious and quite modernly (some say cool in addition) installed. With tv, hair dryer and ' coffee making facilities 'It was also sufficiently equipped. Everything was clean and in good condition. The beds were tight and not worn out. The Scenic Circle Dunedin City hotel is a very modern hotel in a very central location of Dunedin. The Octagon George street, the main shopping street and the train station are within easy walking distance. The hotel was centrally located: 15 minute walk to the Intercity bus, about a 10 minute walk from the train station (Taieri Gorge Railway: to recommend) and 5 minute walk to the Octagon in the city center with Infocenter, shops and restaurants.
