The staff was swamped and extremely rude. You had to queue for a table for breakfast assigned to get. Our kids allowed in the breakfast room don't move. The boat shuttle you had to queue and then on the next boat waiting, because the boats are crowded. Was incomprehensible, why not add another boat began. Finally the on the footbridge.Absolutely beautiful and well-kept hotel area, but the huge hotel was impersonal.There was the food very good, however the breakfast buffet very well arranged! We had a wonderful short break with both of our children (3 and 6) in San Clemente! The island ( a former monastery) is a dreamlike complex with wonderful pool and park - only 10 minutes with the hotel-shuttle boat from the Markusplatz. Therefore we could always for a few hours into town drive, US but also on the island withdraw and recover; with a dreamlike view of the lagoon! The hotel restaurants are very good, the service very accommodating and child-friendly. The family suite was large and nicely furnished. For our whole family it was the perfect start in … read more

A real dream hotel, what the location concerned (on a private island in a historic monastery with church). Rooms are pleasant large and tastefully furnished, as big bathroom with bath tub and separate shower. The only negative was, that sport before breakfast is impossible: fitness room opens until 09:00, pool was to use locked, although well heated and in immaculate condition. The staff the front desk is technich untalented (the simle printing a boarding pass for the flight was the guests-Computers lack printer not possible and took at the front desk about 1 hour).     This luxury hotel has a quiet and unique location on the island of San Clemente, in the middle of the Venice Lagoon. Only a few minutes by boat from St. Mark's Square and the Lido, the hotel has been integrated into an extensively restored monastery site and is surrounded by quite parkland. The hotel lies just 500 m from links to the public transport network. The distance from Piazza San Marco and Palazzo Ducale is around 1 km, while it is about 1.2 km to Ponte di Rialto and Accademia. The airport is approximately 3 km from the hotel.

    Opened in 2003, this air-conditioned luxury hotel comprises a 3-storey main building with a total of 205 rooms. The reception is open 24-hours a day. Further facilities include a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a bar, a hairdresser's salon, lift access and 4 air-conditioned à la carte restaurants. There are also conference facilities available, as well as room and laundry services. A complimentary hotel boat is also available.
