A hotel come into the years. Were in the highest villa category. First villa was mouldy everywhere in the bathroom. Dirty sheets. In the 2. villa a bit better. Private pool had zero water circulation. The throw every day something chlorine in the pool. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom couldn't use without running the risk of something aufzulesen. Totally dirty especially in the jets. In the complete mansion you can not only windows that open. The air conditioning is probably a vorkriegsmodell as loud as it was. Sleep was with the air conditioning not to think and without it ... was then too warm. Ceiling fan would be cheaper and more effective option! The breakfast buffet is absolutely more inedible and less quality! But even as the rather simple package tourists the plates packed. We booked the hotel after two terrible days and leave in a neighboring 5 star hotel moved which then was the best. read hotel review

A hotel which is past its best which definitely not worth 4 stars more. The rooms very large and spacious, but the bathroom was a disaster. Mold on the walls, all rusty and stained fittings, a totally calcified regenschauerdsuche still only just in the mounting and a stained floor. After complaining to the travel agency we could change the room. The new bathroom was acceptable. What in the room started to continued but through the whole hotel. The pool area was totally run-down, everywhere broken beach chairs and umbrellas, in the morning, will be a perforated and stained towels provided ... and a cocktail at the pool bar was hardly edible if you see how the glasses cleaned. Music echo from a large rusty speakers so. Also the sunloungers at the beach are all damaged and in need of renovation. Except for the pool, which still reasonably well maintained, the hotel is in need of renovation and it is not the manager of the staff run. The breakfast deserves a smooth 6. We were something else in Asien used to. Here everything is a little carelessly and dingy. read hotel review

    As mentioned above the breakfast was a smooth 6... That is why we are also in the evening never directly in the hotel eat gone. The restaurant was in the evening was mostly deserted.     The staff was very friendly, but very unmotivated. The manager was the whole day uninvolved in the area rum and has neither the guests the staff worried. The rooms were regularly but only moderately clean. The staff at the reception was very welcoming and accomodating.

    There was a large fitness room, which also of use. The beach is great and the crystal-clear sea invites to bathe. The pool area is a hotchpotch of broken umbrellas and sun loungers. On two evenings during the day a band played at the pool... They were also very good, only after two weeks you knew the music program also outs... Unfortunately, there was no variation.

    The hotel is situated on a beautiful beach and you can go for long walks on the beach. There are many massage possibilities directly at the beach... Highly recommended. Otherwise it is in mänam very quiet and unfortunately, there were also little good restaurants in the near vicinity. In the neighbor hotel we ate very well. Otherwise, we are usually with the taxi to the fishermans Village or Chaweng dangers.

A total catastrophe! Had cards for a Bangkok stay, 2 weeks in this hotel to make, which thoroughly to the rear went loosely. We were a bit concerned, since the last reviews bad were, but in the last time the reviews again something were better, which was very calm. But what we got to see shocked us very. Had the highest category in the hotel, a grand pool villa. When we arrived they showed us a, in which we withdraw should, the wasn't alright. In the villa were before the doors and floors, freshly painted, the smell of paint was ... unbearable! Got headaches already after a short time. After further inspection of the villa, took the misery no end. Torn curtains, mold and rust in the entire bathroom, dead insects, which naturally great eveything looks, if these in the curtains were sticky. The walls filled with stains, whatever these turned on?! Upholstery, chair and couch stained, the outdoor area with an adjoining private pool full of dirt and mold. Everywhere old rags, cigarette butts and dirt rum. The wooden chairs and a table, the villa stood, were totally broken and you could anyway not really there purely wish. The air conditioning extremely loud, so that sleeping to the horror is. And so on then had the travel line immediately notifies, the then transfered, the other villa get, which the hotel has been made. The 2. villa was a bit better, but the mould, air conditioning and the dirt remained the same. Then we looked the grounds of the hotel, where the horror further. We know many things only from the television, but it then live backdrop was very sad, that there was such a thing. The beach area, was beseht from broken pool chairs, the outdoor spa area, whatever it was, was totally dirty, the beach chairs were broken and filthy cushions on it. The lounge area just with old plan covered. The pool area full of deck, umbrella stand broken, the pool even in the outdoor area completely broken, fountain? Just sawed off and the rusty pipes so serene. We wanted only away! After repeated consultation with the travel guide, we agreed that we one night stay there should be (because sunday was) and on the next day a solution should be found. So we slept or better said rested a night there and waited what the next day may not bring? And my worst fears came true. We must say, that we for many years very gladly after Asien flies and love the atmosphere, the flair, the climate and the people. Only 8 we always very important, that the hotel to fit and a certain number of stars is given. Well at least it was then the next morning for breakfast. Mmm delicious, i can say as only. Orange juice was all, there was also no more, sausage wanted alone runaway, tafeltischdecken surprised himself why their holes not even stuffed were! Etc. We brought it behind us and waited on the tour operator. As it then as was suggested above 5 hotels with the taxi to look at, which we thankfully at took. We made on the way and found in the late afternoon a hotel. It was the sister hotel (samui resotel in Chaweng). Took the hotel but it is only, that incidental cancelation fees are spared. However, we have still 5 65 €top pay. But we were so ready with the research for hotels and wanted to finally holiday, since we had no other choice left. The whole operation is with beautiful pictures now with our lawyer. And we hope the view from our tour operator., since we were always satisfied and our asienreisen always relaxed came back. But this time a total catastrophe was. Oh and what: hotel requires deposit of 300 € on the way there. Or we know not so in the form.     Mänam is a rather quiet place. Who night life would have to towards the Chaweng holiday. A larger assessment but can we not, since we only one night there have.

    The thais are always very nice and friendly! Only the manager, should also times with the tourists apart, and not so arrogant and as a plastic gockel walk through the hotel. He knew our problem and we got no apology, no words and not even a good day wish it. We find it very sad, as guests just. Because for the price we paid to any relationship is, what we found!

    Directly at the beach from mänam. The sea is very clean, steep-for non-swimmers not so very suitable. Shopping: within walking distance of 2 grocery stores. Restaurant also within walking distance and also some on the beach. Night life: in mänam is not very busy, but we enjoyed. If you want to party, to Chaweng or Lamai.

    The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Particularly mr. Mark and mr.. Ping pong from the reception. The cleaning of the rooms was also very good. Each evening ice brought there for cold drinks, the curtains were closed, the blankets and always with a Blume good night (was always about at 19:00 o'clock). I had to go to the hospital to stronger medicine because of a cold to get taxi service and hospital were immediately informed. Then i was every day after my are asked.

The hotel is clean - the staff very friendly. In the immediate area is the ferry terminal and some boats for diving and snorkelling which was very good. The boat will not disturb! In the immediate area there are more good-local restaurants. read hotel review

    The staff was very friendly and helpful. The foreign language skills were enough for a little small talk certainly the most, however nothing more. We found that the communication sufficient good was, especially if one not so fit in english, as we. The room was cleaned thoroughly. If new bed sheets wanted, needed only stoffgecko on the bed and already the laundry was changed. We have every day fresh towels get, even without requesting it. Each evening the blinds from the staff down left and a perfume lamp for your comfort lit around the mosquitoes to pass. The ice container for drinks was also refilled. 4 bottles of drinking water were also every day provided free of charge. On the dealing with complaints unfortunately we can't say; we had no!

    The room we had was very big. There was a free safe, a large tv and a well-stocked minibar with acceptable prices. A kettle was available for coffee/tea, which was for free. The bed was comfortable, the mattress wasn't worn out. The bathroom was also very big with a large shower and a jacuzzi. The air conditioning hummed quietly before itself, so that one night i could.

    Entertainment was not deals; we say : thank god. Gym facilities there were in an air-conditioned fitness room, which we however not used and therefore no statement to the equipment choice. The pool was class, very clean (was cleaned daily) and also large enough. It was not in the way with other guests. The sun loungers were a bit worn, but we could watch, that they have been repaired and exchanged. Beach chairs were sufficiently available and if no sunshade was available, then one needed only the staff notice and you got a. A shower was both at the pool and the beach available.

    The restaurant on the complex was a bit more expensive than the surrounding places. With all however, you can say, the the food delicious and the quantity was good (you left the table never hungry). We have mostly typical for the country dinner, but there are everywhere also burgers and pizza, the also were delicious. The restaurant on the complex had occasionally with flying insects to fight, the very annoying were. Unfortunately you could not be enjoyed at the beach sit. But the staff nothing.

    The beach was directly at the area. He was very clean and also chairs were sufficiently available. The width of the beach is probably season dependant, in april/may definitely but wide enough. Restaurants nearby were very good available. You need only a piece of the road walk along; or you at the beach along, but because of the sandbeschaffenheit was arduous. (one sagged very much in the sand). From the airport you got nothing with; so no aircraft noise or similar transfer lasted approximately 25 minutes by cab. The complex was somewhat remote the main street so that you had to walk. We recommend to rent a scooter, then you are independent.

In march 2013 we were for the 2. time at samui buri. It has seen ist best years, what the furniture and all other can see. The wifi is compared to the last year no longer free of charge and you really asked to pay for it. In comparison, nearly every bar in Chaweng has free wi-fi, but alleged 4 stars should expect. The morning fight for a functioning pool chair and an umbrella is not fun and the staff looks bored to, if tourists with the move of the chairs or set up a heavily managed umbrella abmühen ourselves ... only. We go since many years to Thailand and such a behavior one knows otherwise not! The cleanliness of the rooms left to be desired and on fresh towels yellow stains. The audience were mixed and we had many germans, russians and swiss. All in all, a great beach, great to relax but 4 stars are undeserved! read hotel review

We have this hotel because of the good reviews last year and got a little fear, after this year the recommendation more and more sunk. This fear was unfounded. The hotel and the entire complex is very nice and well kept. Daily gardeners busy the park alright and the succeed really wonderful. Wireless internet was included, the connection quality was not outstanding but sufficient.     There's a restaurant and two bars. We only booked with breakfast. This was not very varied and quality nothing special high quality. The service was but well, we were always quickly with coffee and tea taken care of.

    We have this hotel because of the good reviews last year and got a little fear, after this year the recommendation more and more sunk. This fear was unfounded.     The hotel has directly at the beach, of the pool to the sea it is just a few meters. The airport is circa 20-minute drive away. Restaurants and shops are in the immediate vicinity within easy walking distance of the hotel and in the place it is also just a few hundred meters, night life was not to be expected. In general, it's there very quiet, exactly according to our needs. Excursions can in the hotel or in the more immediate vicinity be booked.

    Our room was huge and overall in good condition. Satellite tv (only one german program: dw), dvd player, minibar, kettle, telephone and air-conditioning are available and worked perfectly. The bathroom was also large but would have a renovation necessary.

    The staff was very attentive and friendly. The cleaning of the rooms was done well but still improvable. With english one gets ahead everywhere (at the front desk, as well as in the restaurant). As a bonus, it should be noted, that our departure day during our wait for the transfer bus without asking cooled, wet towels to erfischung got.

    The condition the beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach is not particulary good. Umbrellas were not always direct sufficiently available. After further inquiry with the staff but was always helped. We always had an umbrella and beach chairs had. Gym is available, however by us was not used. The pool with sea view is very beautifully built.
