As German you have no possibility to communicate. Despite German Flag at the entrance no word German. You should definitely speak French, since even the English at the staff it is not far. The hotel was very poor. We were often less than 5 people in the dining room, however of 6 waiters 'secure!' the locals food was good but matched not a five star hotel.
