  Built in 1890 and renovated in 2003, this historic hotel comprises a total of 548 rooms, spread over 8 floors. One-Bedroom Suite and One-Bedroom Suite Lakeview: one king-size bed and a two-person sofa bed; same views as Fairmont. Belvedere Suite and Belvedere Lakeview Suite: there are 4 of these rooms. One king-size bed and a two-person sofa bed, located on the highest floor (8), with the same views as Fairmont room. • How to get there
  From Calgary Airport: Take the only exit road leaving Calgary Airport. Continue following this road, and it will become Barlow Trail. Take Barlow Trail south to 16th Avenue. Go west (right) onto 16th Avenue. 16th Avenue becomes TransCanada Highway 1, which leads straight through to Banff National Park (a 45-60 minute drive). Upon arriving at the Banff National Park gates visitors will be required to pay a fee. Entry and service fees are charged at most national parks and national historic sites, where revenue is vital in supporting visitor services and facilities. After paying the fee continue to follow the signs for the hamlet of Lake Louise, continuing on the TransCanada Highway. Forty minutes past the Town of Banff take a turn-off to the right, marked for Lake Louise. Turn left at the top of that road, proceed through 2 stop signs and continue straight along this road, uphill (4 km, 2.4 miles). This will lead directly to the front doors of the hotel. The trip will take about 2.5 hours from Calgary, weather permitting. Calgary is 183 km from Lake Louise.
