Ageing and carelessly run hotel. The more positive general other reviews here, I can not understand. Breakfast in the basement behind a reassuringly strong ( Brandschutztür as you from local boiler rooms knows). The tables with a whole stack Wegwerfpapiertischdecken covered-is much easier, but you need only the top table cloth away (WAD) and the table is' about ' clean. Old hotel, average service, is a 5-minute walk from the old city center Lagos and to the beach. There is a free parking. Each room has a balcony. The room is old furniture, old plumbing, bad television, few TV channels. For breakfast, a small selection, but the sausage, cheese, butter, jam, bread, biscuits, tea, coffee, But if the accommodation is not expensive, it is acceptable. read hotel review

The Monte mar is 10 minutes from Lagos center, you can take a lovely the street along down to run! Very nice aussiecht from the hotel, palm trees everywhere! The room was quite simple, but it was quite cold, because the climate warm up could. The room was so rather cool, the staff has not really can help, even change! In my opinion was the air conditioning for the summer meant to cool, but the warm not really, the staff meant however already! The hotel lies a little outside the city center', it is however within a few minutes to all major points. Ought to you, that the area a bit hilly, in other words, that some hills, until you the hotel has achieved. The hotel itself was located on a busy road, nearby a roundabout. At night it does rather quiet with the traffic, in the morning one has however partly with louder noises of the trash collection, as well as waiting buses to do, the times motors let it run. Only really disturbing were however the air-conditioning devices the neighboring room ..., the, if you at night or in the early morning hours ran, large noise to have, since the motors to the small balconies are. The hotel itself consists of 4 floors, with altogether about 60 rooms. read hotel review

    The breakfast buffet is a bit of getting used to, offers in general however everything, that you need. There was a juice machine, a coffee machine with different selectable types of coffee, rolls, bread, partially locals breads, cheese, sausage, jams, yogurts and kellogg's in different ways. Really big, the dining room unfortunately not, so you rarely a table for itself alone has. Cleared the used things from the serving staff immediately, so the dining room is always a clean cleaned impression made.

During the drive we are in places such as Albufeira or portimao past and were just glad, there also again get away, as it was merely around tourist hotspots is, with many high rise buildings and little charm.     The rooms are acceptable by the size. In the bathroom there was a bath tub included possibility to shower, a large mirror with light lighting and other sanitary installations. Of of the airconditioning I have just been spoken. Equipped the rooms are each with a wardrobe, two bedside tables, a small modestly equipped and two single beds, the double beds next to each other can be made. On the balcony are each two chairs, as well as a small table. A tv is also with lots of international programs available. ( German however only ARD)

    The waiters at the front desk is at any time friendly and helpful, also giving advise to planned excursions or bus connections. With English you. The rooms were real cleaned every day, every day there was fresh towels, it was cleaned and within a week were twice the beds covered. For this thus big praise!

Because the hotel unfortunately directly at a main street is, through a small capacity is crossed (turn in every direction possible ), the rooms are the to the street are located, not to everyone's taste (volume). The best cracker at this idyllic location is however the breakfast room (in a basement, behind a protection against fire-door (as in a OP hall sitting with much artificial lighting and furnishing as in the 70. Years), one has rather the feeling here only fast coffee drink and go. If you don't special Claim places and over a lot can see here is very ... in good hands. read hotel review
