Since we had not a hotel restaurant, and the guest hotels than recommendable was listed as, we had this also be made online. When we arrived there was equipt atmosphere in the bar area, there is lots of consumed alcohol... This you will hear clearly in the night. Constantly loud laughing, a lot of noise, doors were on and slamming shut, disputes together... The room decor was very dated, nice rustic brown furniture. The air was totally stuffy. The staff was friendly, the room cleaning was good. On weekends and public holidays the rooms only provisionally clean towels changed upon request and trash emptied). Location
The hotel enjoys an excellent location. It is just a 10-minute stroll through the parklands to Brisbane Town Hall, Queen Street Mall, Southbank parklands and the historic Treasury Casino. It is located in the heart of Brisbane's medical precinct, adjacent to Brisbane Private Hospital (Holy Spirit) and numerous medical centres. For this reason it is very popular among medical patients as well as their family and friends. Brisbane Airport is some 15 km away.
Facilities
The hotel, which was renovated in 2007, is an ideal venue for both leisure and corporate guests due to its close proximity to Brisbane city centre. It has 71 rooms spread over 7 floors. It has a lobby with 24-hour reception, cloakroom and lift access. A bar, restaurant and conference facilities all feature, as do Internet and WLAN access (both subject to fees). Room and laundry services are provided with the former subject to fees. Parking facilities are available to guest arriving by car.

For the comfort and enjoyment of guests, all the following facilities and services are standard in the rooms: en suite bathroom, individually adjustable air-conditioning, central heating, direct dial ISD/STD telephones, dial-up internet, data port with charging facility, complimentary in-house movies (2 channels), mini-fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, alarm clock/radio, hairdryer, private balcony and complimentary foxtel (satellite/cable TV - 8 channels).
Meals
The hotel also offers a new ground floor restaurant and bar, "The Mill Hotel", which serves sensational modern cuisine from Monday to Saturday.
