The building itself is partly in need of renovation and the local conditions. If you have such Shortcomings eye and but rather the familiar and friendly atmosphere in the hotel is good. The many reviews on the internet are not comprehensible for us. Also in a 5 star hotel in the black forest, one must under circumstances a few minutes to fresh rolls to wait. This hotel was the worst we have ever experienced. For breakfast, lunch and in the evening it always had the same food. Without love cooked and served.     15 minutes walk to medina and just across the road to beach. Great organizing of the excursions by the travel agnecy representative. Many usefull info about the country, religion, habits, everyday life of the locals from the guides!

    Cleaning might be better but it is far from unacceptable. Renovation of the hotel was started already, furniture in the rooms changed to new ones (except 5th floor, but it is progress).

Due to the reviews we knew about, what to expect: about 5 hours early were tired we arrived (considerable delay the tunisian nouvel air is usually so). The room was really the disaster - totally dirty bathroom - was certainly not cleaned. Complaint - room change. Almost as dirty, this time especially the toilet (i do not want to describe, as it looked.). The next day complaint concerning the bathroom. Towels were not available, as well as bed sheets for cover. In the evening is a hotel boy appeared, the missing brought. I told him the toilet shown; for ... him 'this condition' normal - he was then nevertheless good cleaned. It is clear to me, it is a 3 star hotel in tunisia. I schimpfe not about the moldy bathroom, that the room on some days were not cleaned, the plastic cups etc. - i expect for my money not more. But i would have liked, the bathroom sink and the shower not, of don't know what, sticky and the toilet not 'different.' Is. Despite all, due to the location i have a great holiday in karawan spent. But reinlichkeits fanatics i wouldn't recommend it. read hotel review

    Location: great. Short walk to the medina. Especially interesting for us the proximity to the train stations - we were traveling by train (no problem, drive time, cheap).

    Air conditioning was available - but it doesn't work, was only lukewarm. That was in october not bad, but i think in the summer see different. The roadside balcony is very noisy, but there was always something to see.

You must be hotel in value see. It is a hotel at the edge of the medina, right on the beach off the classischen tourist area around port el kantoui. It was in the 70er built and was the top address. Today it is lagging behind in the standard afterwards. But it is, i think in the price performance ratio still as said by erika. You should watch that you a room on the sea side gets. The other side is located right on the main road and the traffic noise is in the first two floors definitely unmistakable and ... sleep is not to think. read hotel review

    From the hotel over the road and already is one at the beach. The neighboring hotels were closed. Hotel Hanna was the sister of the president and is in the framework of the revolution has been closed. The neighborhood therefore sees a bit dreary. Advantage is not on the beach troubled. Because it is the only hotel, and for the melons and kettenverkäufer, jet boat providers etc. Not only worth it for the few guests at our time about 20-50 on the beach go past. So we could get our beach in peace enjoy. The beach was flat and one can relatively far out run, before one not in the water can.

i strongly recommend this hotel, the staff are great, i stayed b and b breakfast was varied, hotel is very clean it is getting updated cant wait to try a new room me, go and enjoy yourself in this hotel nothing is too much trouble for the lovely people and the very nice man who owns it you will enjoy your time in tunisia staying at this hotel, it is very close to the beach in fact just over the road, a lovely restaurant also called the caruso very lovely there karawan now has a lovely al a carte restaurant ... where the service and food are excellent when you go i hope you have a lovely time read hotel review
