My boyfriend and i were in august guests in the Marco Polo hotel in Garda. The hotel as a 3 star hotel. These standard unfortunately we couldn't notice, as the hotel is worn and in need of renovation was. The fridge didn't work, the balcony was rusty, there was no shower curtain and the swimming pool was in a state of disrepair and slightly dirty. Unfortunately we were greeted by travel service kaiser Zwickau in this hotel the 'stylish si vester' building, even though it was a different hotel and place had booked and would never be, after the existing reviews, there arrived! Unfortunately take all the reviews! Whether accommodation, cleanliness, food and then still one of more than a hundred youths lautstarkes 3 - day (already for several years) bum-bum musikvestival until early in the morning! The best was a great view of the Lake Garda and the weather was meant it good with us! Since, our tour operator, us without warning there and ... until today no compensation was cleaned, is however probably the negatieste! read hotel review

Very large hotel complex, with bungalows, apartments and double rooms. The hotel area was located at the top of Garda. Great view from the main building. The hotel area was already a bit worn and for us the night okay. read hotel review

    From the hotel it goes to foot downhill about 10 minutes along the busy road. Way back took about 20 minutes it again steeply uphill. All in all reasonable, unless you go-handicapped.

    The resort has 2 pools. Tennis court, children's playground, sunbathing lawns and table tennis. The pool at the main building looked for us not so inviting, we were on the upper pool in only a 5 minutes' walk distance was. Very well maintained, plastic beach chairs were in order and included but there is only a shower. Adjacent there is a very beautiful pizzeria, delicious food, beer quite expensive - but in the evening easy to reach. Other areas such as playground, table tennis and volleyball court may a generalsanierung use, quite dirty.

    The breakfast and supper were in general in the large dining room instead. The chamber is fully there was chaos. Mornings we had a very rich breakfast buffet, for Italy very plentiful. There were eggs, jams, honey, muesli, 2 cheeses and 3 different types of sausage. Biscuits, rolls and a little darker bread. The only drawback at breakfast the coffee, probably a mixture of kaffeersatz and malt, not to be recommended, the had coffee then to do nothing. Yuck! Dinner was very tasty. Starters picked up independently from the buffet, wait you had to this plan. The 2. the pasta at the table was handed, very more delicious and one got also seconds. The 3. course consisted of meat and usually potato or, some vegetables were very tasty and for normalesser enough. The dessert was not quite so appealing, mostly pudding or fruit salad not really imaginative. One politely and friendly service. (the wine? Well) Indefinable

    So now our room number 032 in the villa rose. First impression was positively surprised, since we were here before had informed and prepared for anything and everything were. With all chemiekeulen armed we entered our room. As i said, first impression was clean. Terrace was and was not cleaned. The bathroom was only superficially deseamed, the shower had no shower curtain and therefore the whole bath stood under water. Doormats also non-existent. Room size ok, there was even german tv (was important was choice - weekends). We have only with sheets to sleep, and the blankets to fatty appeared, Was just temperature-moderately. We had a mittelzimmer that means you can hear and see everything on the balcony and in the room. Hotel extremely clairaudient. Doors close only when you extremely slams shut. Nothing to sleep in.

Dated complex with dreigeschossigem main building with double rooms and buildings with apartments. It is above the Lake Garda with a beautiful view. Beyond this, a large park with swimming pool and olive groves. Enough parking spaces available! Unfortunately, a majority of the furniture worn, many dirty seating, straight in the dining-hall is not so beautiful. One finds also cobwebs or a not-so-clean corner in the house, but we had the feeling that they tried everything maintained! It is unfortunately also noisy and, our room at least, was simply vitreous. We had booked half board and a, for the period ..., very reasonable price in the Lake Garda paid. With the price-performance ratio we were more than satisfied! In our time, middle september, were little kids. The guests were mostly german, but also many dutchmen and italians in the aged 35-65 years. read hotel review

    Our room was a upgrading with balcony and a beautiful view of the Lake Garda. According to the age a bit worn, rather simple but functional. We slept very well in the beds, they were linen fresh and clean. Also the toilets were no reason to complain; old, but clean and tidy cleaned. Every day there were new towels!

    In the only restaurant of the hotel was the breakfast was modest, not continental, but sufficient in quality and quantity. The dinner we found better; hors-d'oeuvres at the buffet, then 2 courses plus dessert à la carte, varied and imaginative. The staff is attentive and friendly. Worth mentioning : Mostafa, the restaurant chef, a pearl of the hotels! The dining room is unfortunately very noisy, probably structurally conditionally, but what you could change; the cold sparlampenbeleuchtung, the dirty cushions and the bad coffee!

    The hotel is about 20 -minute walk away from Garda. Unfortunately you have a part of it on the busy street, but the promenade then up to the city center is very nice. Garda has a broad strip with many restaurants right on the lake. Right behind are a lot of small streets lined with shops.

    Around the pool there were much space for sunbathing, unfortunately, the garden was very neglected. Plants and trees are sometimes so large, that they have no sun more leak and roots the pavement raise (of stumbling)! In the bar we were only a night as a 3-köpfige band playing. They were really good. Otherwise we had no other offers used.

    Without navi hard to find. After Garda very dangerous, because you are right a piece on the very strong and narrow busy street,. With darkness a walk after Garda not recommended. In other words; as in the hotel very little offered, sits du partly at defr expensive bar.

The breakfast was under all cannon. In the cabinets is again dusted. The ants running by the room what a keeping the mattresses from the wretched bed on the floor. The bathroom could have been before 10 years already reconditioned should. All in all a successful image of the miserable italian hotels, but the nice sea before the door couldn't do anything about it. read hotel review

My boyfriend and i were in august guests in the Marco Polo hotel in Garda. The hotel as a 3 star hotel. These standard unfortunately we couldn't notice, as the hotel is worn and in need of renovation was. The fridge didn't work, the balcony was rusty, there was no shower curtain and the swimming pool was in a state of disrepair and slightly dirty. The glasses in the restaurant were dirty and the plates chipped. At first glance made the room but at least a clean impression. During the holiday we noticed but small blood different strength on the ... bed sheets. The sizes we however no more important. Three days after our return from holiday (22-08-2013) i red itchy rash with einstichen on my right arm firm. A day later (23-08-2013) got my boyfriend light deflections at the foot and at the back. I consulted antiochenes my family doctor, which a suspect bed bugs came. My friend has consulted a doctor. It confirmed the presence of bed bugs. In the following days aggravated our rash, all body regions were concerned. The doctor pointed out, that bed bugs diseases such as hepatitis b, hepatitis c or hiv can cause and therefore may massively dangerous are. Furthermore, the risk of bed bugs with home introduced to have. The time by the boil all textiles, the search after harmful bed bugs as well as the numerous visits affected us very. We wrote a beschwerebrief at 1a 2 - fly as back about 3 months silence prevailed. Only now we got a check amount of 150 Euro as compensation! In this hotel i would never stay check in. It is absolutely not child friendly and just enough to stay. Relaxing holiday is certainly not! read hotel review

    The pool was already very old and worn. It was missing tiles and a plaster swam in the water. Also leaves from the trees in the pool. Kinderaniamtion or the like did not give it. Beach chairs were only in the morning to get. The number of beach chairs was absolutely not enough. There was no umbrellas. But shaded areas by trees. There was at the pool a shower, but was freezing. As sport there was a tennis court, which is also not the best impression. Throughout the day the sun was shining on the square, so that one did not 10 minutes in the square aushielt. Other leisure facilities there was not.

    A large restaurant, the always crowded. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The meals were in quantity and taste similar each day. There were mainly italian cuisine. Drinks you had to every evening alone are charged (with half board). A bottle of water 0, 75liter cost 2,50 Euro. The glasses were usually dirty and stained.

The hotel has our holiday mood significantly reduced. Mold in the shower, the room was schmutzing. The daily cleaning service was the sheets tidy together holidaymakers. The towels have so strongly of cleaning products smell, that we are sure that this also cleaned, although the towels very many stained. The air conditioning was broken. We were several times told why was taken care of. A room change was not possible. The food our half board was particularly also not well. It was missing of cutlery. The check-in we got only the key. Otherwise there was no further information. We had ... to ask about all. Our urlaubsbetreuung from neckarmanreisen interested not for our problems. We only got the infi brochure. After the holiday we neckarmannreisen several times written down. Without reply. We are now the whole with enrolling ereldigen and ask for 20% reimbursement of travel expenses. So is the service very bad neckarmannreisen and from this suppliers no more vacation book read hotel review

    For leisure-time activities is far-reaching catered for. The hotel is a smaller pool... Nice... Especially for the 'run-putrid'. The upper pool was excellent. Morning half eight at aufgehender sun, before breakfast and an impressive backdrop the first laps was great - and the peace. There i could see, not only the german early in the morning to the pool slip, the beach chairs occupied - no (!), the oranjes have the rank of expired, both in number of beach chairs and the time... In the evening is also a swim in the twilight highly recommended.

    Wonderful location in an olive grove - just pure nature with views of the Lake Garda. Unfortunately, the way into the city not totally harmless, as there is no foot path, but only a shoulder - so nice in single file and do not stop. Life is only at night in the streets, experiencing and lovely for a stroll.

    For two persons with 'aufbettung' sufficiently, must one evenly something together. No minibar, bad with the temperatures. Tv needs no people... The bathroom could be a little bit bigger, at least would be a shower curtainrod. Certainly is the furniture not the newest, but as long as everything was clean... We can arrange to us.

    There was a restaurant, a bar, an outdoor balcony with plenty of space to relax in the evening. The chairs and cushions could have been a bit water use, the table-ware and cutlery little more attention! The breakfast repeated every day, but you could change,... The dinner consisted of buffet (salads warm/cold, pasta, fruit), the starters (pasta in different variations, soup), the main course (daily before select from three offered) and the dessert ('überraschungsei'). Due to the sufficient ' starters' before the main course, you were full - as the main courses not like used extensive were. The potatoes tasted the same every day,... After oil. Geschmacksvariation? No! The dessert was enough from the cakes over pudding, fruit salad and ice cream (!) to slush ice cream. Who what got, decided the service employee requests were usually taken into account. We ate in two passages, since otherwise the 'house' not could.

The overall condition of the hotel seemed neglected and the exterior installation is very much in need of repair. The worst the food was. It was neither good nor varied and absolutely children friendly. The service was except for an exception absolutely unfriendly and worked until the sweat into the food leaked. The detained colleagues but not, there were still to serve, disgusting. In the lower floor smelled it regularly after dung and it was not react nor repaired. Was great the location of the hotel, the lake and the weather. read hotel review
