Great value for money!

Admittedly a bit off the beaten path, but still highly recommended. The value for money is absolutely fantastic for London! The rooms are newly furnished and are accordingly in very good condition. The breakfast is also recommended and the continental breakfast is with 10 Pounds Sterling also still quite cheap. Make sure to use the hotel's shuttle service or the 170 bus (goes right past the door). The former goes to Clapham Common tube station (every half hour), the 170 bus runs every 8-15 minutes to Victoria Station. read hotel review

The best view of a hotel I have ever stayed in

I stayed in this hotel on one occasion whilst working in London. The hotel is a 5 star hotel and is actually a very, very, very nice hotel. I did book an exec room and the room was absolutely huge. The whole of one side of the room was glass and looked directly out over the River Thames. The view was absolutely stunning. The only problem was, the lighting in the room wasn't great in my opinion, and due to it being winter, it was dark in the morning and dark in the evening, so it was quite difficult for ... me to get ready in the morning before work due to the lack of light. Apart from this, the room could not be faulted if you ask me, it was stunning. The bathroom was also a decent size. I also had the pleasure of eating in the restaurant downstairs, which is an Indian restaurant. The food was good, but in comparison to other restaurants I have eaten in, it was extremely expensive in my opinion. The things about the hotel that I think aren't that great - the location isn't great for me, it's a good 10 - 15 minute walk from Clapham Junction overground station, so not well connected to the tube at all. There aren't any restaurants or shops in the direct area that I could enjoy, which is what makes London so good for me. Also when I was there they were re-laying their driveway, so it was difficult to get in and out of my room, but that said, this would just be a temporary thing. If this hotel was in Central London it would be extremely expensive no doubt, so the good thing about this hotel for me, is that you can still stay in luxury, in London, for a good price, because of the compromised location. read hotel review
