    The hotel enjoys a tranquil location and is surrounded by a beautiful garden setting. It is just 2 or 3 minutes’ walk from the village of Grindelwald. This exclusive location offers guests an imposing view of the Matterhorn and the Eiger-Mönch-Jungfrau mountains (9 km away). Transport links, shops, bars and pubs, plus ski slopes are all within around 130 m of the hotel.

    The ambience of the hotel is characterised by luxury and comfort. The hotel has been tastefully decorated and offers excellent and friendly service, as well as culinary highlights. Business travellers will appreciate the stylish conference, seminar and banquet facilities which make the hotel perfect for guests looking for a charming establishment and with a love of tradition. Built in 1892 and renovated in 2011, it welcomes guests in its lobby with 24-hour reception and 24-hour check-out service. Currency exchange facilities are provided and a hotel safe, cloakroom, lift access and newspaper stand also feature. Entertainment comes in the form of the games room and TV lounge and there is also a children’s playground for younger guests. Food and drink can be enjoyed at the café, bar and restaurant.
