Now for the third time we were in the hotel Veldenstein forest and as always very satisfied. Particular emphasis should be on the really great service and the staff's hospitality. Every request we from our eyes. Simply top. After some unfortunately not so great ' Experiments' with restaurants in the area we twice in the hotel itself, also that was amazing. Last but not least: our kids (4 and 7) were also welcome guests. An oasis of peace, we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean, great room and a good selection of meals enriched our weekend getaway. We were completely satisfied. In the short time we could unfortunately the many leisure options here are not the use. A reason to come back. … read more

I was very positive surprised by the wellness offer of hotels in this location and size. The outdoor swimming pool/natural swimming pond was stunning. There is no a whole day in the sun and verdösen in between the Finnish block sauna. The staff was very nice.
Half board for 16 euro per day I would not book. Better service à la carte food; it must not be three courses each day.
The only point of criticism: small renovation traffic jams in the sauna area in the basement. Furthermore, the hallways are very dark; here you could treat times stronger light bulbs.
