Small luxury Tyrol is a boutique hotel in the middle of the centre of vienna, in the longest shopping street, the Mariahilfer Street with restaurants, shops, craft etc. There is a small, nostalgic elevator for the 5 floors. Each floor is like a small gallery to. There are a lot of pictures with different motives, but each floor has its own theme: times flowers, the konterfeis of Donald, minny, Dagobert, distorted art etc. It is not cheap, but if you luxury and wants, must pay a little more. read hotel review

The rooms were with a safe, bathrobes, slippers, bath implements, minibar, kettle including coffee & tea facilities. Everything was very nice and comfortably furnished, the bathroom elegant. Free wi-fi.

  • Gastronomy

We had booked with breakfast. The dining room was very nicely furnished. Also here there were several works of art on the wall or on the marble windowsills. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, various breads and rolls, delicious antipasti, fresh fruit, fruit salad, yogurts and everything which to a good breakfast. Also sparkling wine available in the cooler. The coffee was a bit strong, but that was a matter of taste.

Very friendly, room service perfectly, wishes were received, tickets concerned, taxi, tips for the city given.

The hotel is very centrally located to major museums and the center. Different underground and tram lines are reachable in a few minutes. The Mariahilfer street is one of the main shopping streets of Wien, therefore there are a lot of shopping possibilities. Accordingly lively the environment is, most of the rooms were in a side street and the windows isolate very well.

Our room had for a city hotel an adequate size, also the bathroom was spacious. The decor was in immaculate condition, also here there were enough works of art. A nespresso coffee machine, as well as a bigger flat screen tv were available, daily there was a bonus with the service (very much to the joy of our children). The wireless in the rooms worked extremely well.
