Service was very courteous, room and hotel were clean.nullThe room and the bathroom were of normal size, there was a tv, but no mini bar. As already said, everything very clean. Otherwise there was an airco, a safe, telephone and of course a coffee machine.Lovely hotel with large rooms, breakfast gives it in the lobby, a breakfast room unfortunately very small is. The hotel was very clean. The lobby is covered, but on all of the floors to be desired.     Excellently located two blocks from the Zócalo in Mexico City, this historical hotel is situated near to the cathedral, the National Palace and the site of the remains of the Palace of Moctezuma. Other nearby places of interest include the Mayor Temple archaeological zone (5-minute walk away), the Palace of Fine Arts and Franz Mayers Museum (both a 15-minute walk away). Acapulco and its beach is approximately 320 km from the historical hotel and Toluca is around 69 km away.

    The hotel is in the boutique category and guests can admire the architectural style that dates back to 1700 in a building which was formerly part of the monastery of San Agustin, which led to its recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Due to its privileged location, guests can admire the beautiful colonial architecture of the city centre buildings.
