Very friendly staff with german speaking service staff. Housekeeping, restaurant service very attentive and for indian standards quickly. The rooms were cleaned daily with change of towels - for the pool there are extra bath towels. The Ayurveda doctors dr. k. and dr volt are world class (we know about 10 comparable hotels kerala) as well as the masseurs simply to enjoy and relax. The Ayurveda treatment we individually, each guest is private patient-one floats only. Since january the ayurvedazentrum a dentist (for example. Zahnreinigung 25 €) a beauty salon and a tailor.A main restaurant for the international guests - … read more

Ayurveda Center can be a better you not: great doctors, therapists delicately, great treatment rooms... Good complementary yoga But major problems in the general hotel: Housekeeping never worked (completely forgotten, no towels, no toilet paper times) Overall cleanliness and little view partly concern for details-service No hot water on more than 1 week... Furthermore, the location is something isolated! … read more

Was very important for me to make a Ajurvedakur. Both the doctors, therapists were very good as also the. Since the Arjuvedazentrum allegmeinen was separated from the hotel, you could enjoy the peace. Pure relaxation. Not suitable as a seaside holiday is the resort. In general, hotel was the kitchen european to me. The beautiful spice Indian food was missing. Very many British and Indian families, since the holidays in India have started. In this part it was very lively. Where children are clear, the post time. … read more

We had booked this hotel at the end of a round trip of India. We wanted to relax and beach holiday actually make before leaving. Unfortunately this hotel is located on a island in the Hannes, the case must with a means you about 20 minutes and also boat if you want the beach (extreme surf and current, no sunset beach, no palm trees etc., the is not suitable for swimming.) you must drive with the boat. The area is OK, but also on the canary islands may be, as the Indian flair completely lost through the secretive location. The … read more

  • Location
On the south-west coast of India, in between the Arabian Sea and the majestic mountains of the Western Ghats, lies a narrow strip of beautiful land, a bountiful land famed for its awe-inspiring natural beauty. Yet there is much more to explore in Kerala, an island of indescribable beauty, just 30 minutes from Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, hidden amidst swaying coconut palms, endless golden sands and lush vegetation. The bus station is around 2 km from the resort and the train station is located in Trivandrum, roughly 28 km away.
  • Facilities
Unspoilt and miraculously unexplored, Poovar Island is a rare find in southern Kerala. Enveloped by the most serene backwaters and opening out to the sea and an enchanting golden beach, this resort is truly a window into the paradise. The resort's facilities include a lobby, café, restaurant and room service. The resort has an impressive, ethnic-looking conference hall Estuary, with state of the art audiovisual facilities for conducting conferences, meetings or corporate retreats. The Estuary is an air-conditioned conference hall capable of accommodating up to 80 persons. The resort features a total of 64 cottages set on 22 spacious acres.
  • Rooms
Charming land cottages, built in typical Kerala-style architecture, spread across the island fringed with coconut groves offer guests traditional ambience combined with state-of-the-art facilities. All the cottages are equipped with facilities to make guests' stay supremely enjoyable. They feature vast yet cosy interiors, typical Kerala-style furniture, air-conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and attached bath. The ground floor rooms have a large private veranda facing the coconut groves.
  • Sports/Entertainment
The resort has a special sunken pool bar at the outdoor swimming pool, a kid's pool and extensive green landscape, dotted with palm trees. It offers opportunities for private entertainment outside the cottages. The hotel also offers water sports facilities, indoor games, cooking classes, outdoor barbecue and more. Typical Kerala artefacts, woodcarvings, handicrafts, shawls, blankets and jewellery are some of the favourite picks at the boutique shop.
  • Meals
The multi-cuisine restaurant Tiffins offers a delectable choice of continental, Asian, Indian and Kerala cuisine to choose from. The Fish Market is the floating restaurant famous for its delicious cuisine. It is open for dinner and serves its wide variety of seafood specialities in traditional Kerala style preparations or continental style.
