  This resort lies in a 50 hectare natural, landscaped desert area. From the hotel it is about 8 km to Scottsdale Fashion Square and some 10 km to Scottsdale Old Town.

  Constructed in 1936, this city hotel comprises a total of 453 rooms spread over several bungalows which are laid out in the style of a village. The lobby area offers guests a reception desk. In addition, there is a café and 6 restaurants available, the "Chaparral Supper Club" with Sinatra-style music, "Najo's" with a south-western theme, and "Rita's" with its traditional Mexican cuisine are only 3 of the hotel's 6 restaurants.
