The hotel is located directly on the 1.5km long private beach section of Jumeirah Beach. The hotel is decorated with exquisite Arabian antiques, which should remind you of old Arabia with the architecture. The hotel has 280 guest rooms and 12 suites. The Wild Wadi Park is included for one visit. Fresh water every day in the room. read hotel review

Actually, we always just stop over in Dubai on our way to Asia. But this time we wanted to finally see what Dubai has to offer and we absolutely loved it. This great hotel certainly played a role in that. The condition of the whole facility, of the hotel, the room and the beach was almost perfect. Everything is in TOP-NOTCH condition, clean and tidy. The staff service left nothing to be desired, English language skills were very good. The rooms are newly renovated and modern but cozy. They have an excellent size as well as the bathroom with two ... sinks, separate toilet, shower and tub. All imaginable bath amenities in TOP-NOTCH quality are also available. We especially enjoyed the beach and the water. Usually we often lie out at the pool but this time we were so thrilled with the fine, bright sandy beach and clear water that we were only at the beach. And because the Madinat Jumeirah has its own private beach, we were never disturbed and there were always enough pool chairs and umbrellas available. The service at the beach is also TOP-NOTCH. There is a small bell on the umbrella that you can use to call for service staff, who came very quickly each time. And about every 50 meters there is a lifeguard on duty. You don't notice the renovation of the hotel, which is supposed to last until September 2014, at all and we only heard and saw construction on the neighboring plot when we were right on the beach. But we were not disturbed by this at all. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and a great variety was available! We have seen larger breakfast buffets, but this one still had everything we needed for a good start to the day. We thought it was particularly nice that you could also have breakfast outside, directly on the lagoon that spans across the entire hotel complex. But here you have to watch out for the birds if you leave your plates unattended. The birds steal everything that is not nailed down. We liked Mina A'Salam so much that we want to come back as soon as possible. If only it wasn't so expensive (but worth the price).!:-) read hotel review

The Hotel Mina a'Salam has about 300 rooms. We were lucky and got a freshly renovated room with a sea view and right on the Burj Al Arab. The clientele is widely mixed, but fewer Germans and more Brits, primarily Russians and Canadians. Wi-fi is available included throughout the Jumeirah group. read hotel review

The hotel is divided into three areas (Mina a'Salam, Al Qasr, Dar al Masyaf) and everything is connected with a giant system of canals, with a real Venice feeling in the middle of Dubai. The Abra boats are free for hotel guests and you can go wherever you want, and the Abra drivers will gladly do tours and show you the area. The Madinat's site is right on Jumeirah Beach, one of the best locations in Dubai!

  • Sport & Leisure
    6.0

The hotel beach is one of the best in the whole of Dubai - especially early at low tide and you feel like you're in the Caribbean. Beach chairs were sufficiently available everywhere, so there was never a fight for the loungers. The service was great - there was always ice cream, cool towels, bags with ice cubes and still water, your sunglasses were cleaned and lots more Mina a'Salam pool is rather small but very quiet. If you need a big pool and more action, the you have to go to Al Qasr.

The whole service staff is very friendly and tried hard to fulfill all wishes - there was also a small birthday surprise prepared for us in the room. The room cleaning was great and they always made great animals out of our towels on the bed.

  • Room
    6.0

We had booked a double room with sea view and got a room in the middle of the complex and so heard nothing from the construction site. In general we were surprised that you couldn't hear any noise from the 4th Madinat Hotel's building site - whether at the beach, by the pool or in the rooms. Top! The bathroom was very large.

  • Gastronomy
    6.0

We had booked half board and in the Jumeirah group this means a Dine Around concept, which means you had over 40 different restaurants to choose from. The food was excellent everywhere. The breakfast buffet has something for every taste, for example fresh fruit, pastries, live egg-station, confectionery, freshly squeezed juices and much more.

This is a very nice hotel with variety of restaurant options in the surroundings. The reception staff was not the best, need improvement. This hotel is definitely on the expensive side, but overall good experience. read hotel review
