Very beautiful hotel area, all the staff are very friendly and tried hard. German knowledge of the staff was rather small, it is in english but communicate well. The german-language travel line is but always to reach. By dine around you had the possibility in 14 different restaurants in the evening to meals. In the whole area there is a free bus service available. For us, the holiday was very relaxing. Cleanliness, friendliness and service are right. The security was very good.     Normal size with a balcony, very large comfortable bed. Balcony with sea view. The bathroom didn't correspond to a high standard and is in need of a renovation. Since beside us not used, we cannot judge like loud the hotel is.

    Taba heights is an artificial location. There are other 5 star hotels and a small 'uptown' with a few shops and restaurants as well as a golf course, not more. From everywhere one has a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains.

    Breakfast and lunch buffet in the main restaurant because of the small occupation with a bit limited selection, but completely in order. We had the 'dine-around' package with the man in the evenings in the restaurants in uptown or other hotel food, highly recommended. Restaurants in the hotel are non-smoking, in the bars however, there is no non-smoking section.

Beautiful grounds! The staff is very hard, friendly and not pushy. Great beach, also ideal for snorkeling! The best thing is the great location, if you like it somewhat individual may. Unlike Sharm el Sheikh or Hurghada here you can on the beach mile walk and we also not constantly hassled by any traders. So if you is not keen on mass tourism, it was exactly right here. For people, the tourist bustle, the situation is certainly too remote, even though the whole area of 5 hotels. There are plenty of activities (Tennis, jacuzzi, sauna, table tennis.) Everything included ... in the price. We had luxury all-inclusive with the dine-around way. Also a great possibility different restaurants to try out. The other hotels in the area we also visited, we sometimes also ate (thanks to the Dine around), but i must say that Marriott is by far the most charming and most beautiful hotel. Also the food we were in this hotel at best. The pool is heated, so in winter good to use. Even in the high season is the utilization of the hotel is very small and therefore recommend. On the beach you could always several beach chairs to choose from. Meanwhile fly Sun-express taba directly to (journey stopover in taba, return right.), thus, the long drive from sharm way. Overall, i would highly recommend this hotel. If you are looking for Egypt and from a 5 star hotel is the comfort of a german 5 star hotels expected, should better stay at home. I have stayed in some 5 stars hotels in Egypt and i must say, this is the most convinced. The rooms were always very clean, the food was always on cleanliness. We had a very enjoyable all inclusive stay. The food was great with plenty of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffets. Non-stop drinks and snacks available in their various cafes. Very good service and accommodating staff. On our arrival we had a warm welcome with a special yummy cake sent to our room. It is a lovely resort, with lots of beach bungalows with both garden and sea views. read hotel review

It was a really great vacation with little faults. The drive from the airport to the hotel was very long, but okay. The hotel complex is simply gigantic and an absolute dream, very well maintained facilities and a very nice big pool with a bar and slide. The hotel itself nice, but a bit dated. The beach and the sea absolutely fabulous. But please take bathing shoes with you, very stony entrance into the sea. For snorkeling and swimming really nice. The restaurant in the hotel was good but the food was not great. For those who eat everything was ... good, i have a week without meat also survived ☺ breakfast was very delicious from varied. Meals we knew everywhere in every hotel and in every restaurant, quality and selection everywhere equivalent. Drinking water in sealed bottles which we thought was great. Beer and soft drinks always bottles of poured. The rooms were okay, but they need a facelift. Unfortunately we had bad luck and it was the card reader in room broken (loose wire), but still at 12 repaired. Staff very friendly and always made an effort, unfortunately almost no german, but with english one can inform oneself well. Taba heights itself very nice location with the red sea on the doorstep and the sinai mountains in the background. The drive to uptown with the taf taf was good, but uptown to we didn't like it too much, is just a matter of taste. As you as a german guest after 23 o'clock not more through the sinai mountains may drive, our flight was however already at 6 o'clock early, we were the last day in a hotel in Sharm el Sheikh spend. Unfortunately not with the Marriott Hotel comparable, but better than at the airport sit ☺ a nice vacation overall. read hotel review

Prior to we had the previous reviews and a mixed feeling arrived. On-site we could but then discovered, the the worst reviews not to understand. If i to Egypt i would not expect, all magnificently and gold draped is. Also the dishes were always good, varied and more than enough. Of course with the expectation driven european food and schnitzel with fries to get, should in Germany stay. Also the service and the friendliness the staff was just very good. Small complaints to the replace a swiping in the room was even immediately at 0:00 o'clock done. All in ... all we must say, that it a very nice and relaxing vacation was. read hotel review

After the bombastic promises by sonnenklar once again credited have, we booked a trip to Egypt in the 'Marriott'hotel in taba. The tour operator was Big Extra. This completely niveaufreie hotel held more than one disappointment for us ready. In our room arrived (block 700 top floor) took the misery its course. In the bathroom everything was completely rottet (flaking plaster, rust spots on the ceiling, mold and so on). We pulled the bed sheets high and us met nearly the impact. Under the sheets were old saggy mattress covers. Selbige were stains all kinds of color schemes, from yellow ... to brown, from small to large covered, their origin, i would like to not at all know. The cushions in the outdoor area also schmutzstarrend. Everything was very worn and tired. The cleanliness in the restaurant left much to be desired. The corners dirty, the wall at the ' nudelstand ', the tables and trays on which the use cutlery was turned off. And so on. In Germany would the hygienkontrolle this house immediately close. The food was monotony and tastelessness not to beat. The quality of the coffee for breakfast, acceptable and after chlorine tasting. There was a coffee automat in the restaurant, this coffee you could enjoy, vorausgestzt you have a cup of bagged. For breakfast is constantly the butter all, no cups, no one from the staff notice something. To lunch you will be forced on a damper his drinks himself to get, this has probably ferienlagerniveua and is for an alleged star hotel the last. The promise of snackspezialitäten in the 'el grotto' bar turned out to be old bread from the breakfast, pastries from the breakfast and stale lukewarm fries. The staff's hospitality in the 'Regatta' bar and 'el grotto' bar leaves a lot to be desired, one disturbs there as a guest and has the impression, not welcome. The leisure offer is null. The billardraum is constantly complete, table tennis is not possible, since it is in the 'Marriott' not a single table tennis rackets were. Simply only embarrassing! Complaints at the tour guides bring nothing. There are the complaints his own statement on but obviously interested from hotel management nobody in it. The advertised arround concept is also only tourist traps. The highly touted thai fish and chicken, as well as the daily meals in the hotel, the burgers at the mexican was not bad, but you can also McDonald's food. The trip to uptown is worthwhile not because of the food. Otherwise there is also not much going on. Overall a very disappointing holiday!
