Occasional noise disturbance through highway SS1 and in about 1000 meters away the railway line. The large, very well-kept area is fenced and the gate with complete, therefore only guests on the property. Plenty of pool chairs at the pool, very clean water. Pleasant beach only for pedestrians and bicyclists away to. Breakfast plentiful, but typically Italian: no sausage, scrambled eggs, ..., But many cakes, yogurt, juices, jams, cereals, fruit, etc., so sweet and fresh with priority. Typical Tuscany hotel with a fantastic garden and a very nice pool area. Large room with all the necessary furnishings. About 25 minutes to beach in walking distance, very large and clean, with and without management. No information on German or english. For each purchase or the car must be used to eat. Podere Conte gherardo is located off the beaten path about all three to four kilometer from the resort Marina di Castagneto away 'in the middle of nowhere'. It is therefore probably mainly for individual travellers, which for the whole length (rental) car one to have. The town itself is unattractive, as well as the long sand-gravel beach, the, as usual in italy, unfortunately, all too often labeled as 'private beach ' is. The hotel offers the possibility for a peaceful, relaxing Aiufenthalt. It is a very nice Park-it is really even more beautiful than it the pictures give. For families perhaps not ideal.
