such a great hotel and i'd like to recommend this one to eveybody who's going to VAN.... and they are still smokerfriendly and they have smoking rooms... love that!!! read hotel review

The hotel has 42 floors and is located in the middle of the lively robson street and therefore right in the middle of downtown. The rooms were standard equippment. For wlan you had to pay (very expensive, 4 $ for 20 minutes). If you want a smartphone has, in a nearby Starbucks and free surfing. read hotel review

    The rooms were default with a tv, telephone, refrigerator, hair dryer. From the balcony we had a magnificent view on the stanley park and the ocean (small tip: absolutely asks for a room from 25. floor)! The room was but rather run down and not so clean. Also, we had 2 rooms and a very loud refrigerator. It sounded so, as if in the freezer ice breaks or, whether someone at the door to try, the türöffnungskarte phone. Unfortunately the problem until at the end not be repaired The only good thing was the view, which was really breathtaking.

    The hotel are robson street and thus directly in the center. You can enjoy the beaches and stanley park in a few minutes to reach on foot. Other objects of interest can one to reach on foot. Directly in front of the hotel is a bus stop. From there one comes comfortably by bus and skytrain to the airport. In the street are also numerous restaurants, bars and shops. Also a very recommendable japanese restaurant ('ramen santouka') is located only a short distance from the hotel. About 5-minute walk from the hotel is safeway a supermarket for the day-to-day needs. There one gets also warm meals at a good price.

    In comparison with the other hotels, was the employees at the reception here not so friendly, a smile could not harm, but nevertheless very helpful, in addition it has in the lobby often strange smell. The cleaning of the rooms was to be desired. We got on the first day dirty towels and later our clean sheets against dirty exchanged, so that we at the front desk had to complain about. The complaint was also taken and the housekeeping was instructed the bed linen immediately to change, unfortunately we got however only after a further complaint really clean sheets. Despite a 'please do not disturb schildes' burst the lady from housekeeping once without knocking into the room. In the remaining the room was with bathroom was clean.

    On the 42 floor of the hotel there is a revolving restaurant, so you can have a view of the city is. The food was delicious and the view very recommendable. Reasonably priced of course for this view have to pay, for Canada usual high tip rather accounts. The restaurant worked well clean and tidy.

The hotel lies a few minutes walk away from the center - a bus stop but is directly in front of the entrance. The lobby is very generous - the staff at the frontdesk is able and helpful. The room was clean and practical equipped. . read hotel review

Smashing view from revolving restaurant

Average hotel with ok facilities, price is fair for this class of hotel. What makes it worth staying here is the top floor revolving restaurant / bar. The weather was good during our stay and we spent two whole evenings just sitting by the windows in the bar watching the changing Vancouver skyline. Sunset over the bay was amazing. We didn't have a full meal, the food was quite expensive, but did order some bar snacks which were fine. read hotel review

The hotel you should only for a visit in the revolving restaurant visit and perhaps also just a drink. The view from up there is great ( especially to the sunset), however the furniture is also in the restaurant so old and run down, I the hotel definitely not would recommend! read hotel review
