The service around the Tongariro area Alpine Crossing is perfect. While my young companion (29 years) the crossing laid back in 6-7 hours including climb to get one of the Kraterberge, I had to (60 years) for blisters due to the not perfect Leihstiefel in 1400m equivalent to give up and ending the way back.
