  The hotel is surrounded by 1,000 m² of beautiful gardens, within metres of the picturesque old town and Rio Gilao. Here, guests will discover a good selection of shopping and entertainment venues. The fine sandy of the dune island, Ilha de Tavira, is easily reached by ferry and the hotel bus travels to the landing stage several times a day. The large, excellent golf courses of Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima are within walking distance. Public transport departs from stops located directly in front of the hotel; Faro airport is approximately 30 km away.
• Facilities
  Built in 2002, this popular hotel offers a total of 268 rooms spread over 3 floors, of which 262 are double rooms and 6 are suites. Amongst the facilities count a stylish foyer with a lift, a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, a games room, a conference room with Internet access, a bicycle hire service and a bike cellar. In addition, there is a cosy café, a bar, a newspaper stand and 2 air-conditioned restaurants with non-smoking areas and highchairs for infants.
