We have to 2. the easy going atmosphere of the hotel rebstock very comfortable and the good food enjoyed. The value for money is excellent, since the passes were already included were. Very friendly specialist in the service (finally ), has everything under control, understands their profession, multi-lingual, information joyful, not a problem with special requests, Kitchen not. Room cleaning was made, definitely the beds Daily.The dining room is rather somewhat uncomfortably, the more cozy part in the front area for groups. But everything was still acceptable. The arranging of the dishes gave us very positively surprised, very much imagination, appetizing, tastefully, delicious... Respect!Rooms in the new building large and bright, with a tv and kettle. I felt good all round. The room was big, clean, bright and friendly. Next door is a Migros with restaurant. Except for the church bells, it was very quiet at night. In the immediate vicinity there are lots to see. To Interlaken (Jungfrau) and Furkapaß ( Rohnegletscher ) are both about 35 kilometer the area is dreamlike nice, but for us German not very cheap. Restaurants are about twice as expensive, as with us. … read more

Except our rooms and our bathroom, we were satisfied and would the hotel in any case recommend. The owner could have made us a different room given, unfortunately none was free more. Location
The hotel is located in the centre of Meiringen, directly next to the bus stop and 200 metres from the main train station. It is very close to the Meiringen-Hasliberg cable cars, leading into the on-site hiking and skiing region.
Facilities
This family-friendly hotel consists of the traditional hotel (now a listed building) and a new modern building that are connected with one another. The hotel has air conditioning and comprises a total of 28 rooms. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers 24-hour reception and 24-hour check-out services, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access to upper floors. Guests can enjoy a drink at the café and bar and dine in the restaurant. Additional amenities include Internet access, room and laundry services as well as a car park for those arriving by car.
