Beautiful island with attractive house reef. As a passionate snorkelers had we at the nearby reef seen: mantas, eagle rays, schwarzspitzenhaie (until about 1.50 metres), turtles, dolphins, moray eels, various' kleinfisch', but two days unfortunately in the water pending small quallenfäden (partly with red content) the painful redness caused. The hotel Coco palm sees himself as luxury Resort. I after my visit in June 2012 not Sunday who a very quiet vacation spend, no intact nearby reef expected, no pool needs, with simple bungalows is satisfied, no fear cockroaches in the room has, is here probably right. Apart from that I can the hotel not recommended. Very nice tropical island, but-the east side the island is complete with sand bags, partly up in the sea laminated will, to protect against erosion, protected. During our presence have new sandbags stacked up.
A convenient walk on this side was therefore not possible.
Unfortunately the nearby riff also quite affected.
The additional costs (desk, drinks etc.) Are relatively expensive.
We booked the beach villa number 50, the already a bit shabby is, per person only one towel and a bathrobe.

Location and beach of the hotel is beautiful, water bungalows almost ideal. Hotel to forget. No care for snorkelers, also a lack of information. Borders already at risk. For tourists, the the first time in a first-class, luxurious ('small luxury hotel of the world') hotel your vacation, there are some ' amenities' at the beginning a bit unusual. Of course there was on this island sandbags, which the island supported have, in the view of some bungalows might somewhat limited has (but this is not to forgive, so one of the staff). We had with our to schnorchelseite lain strandbungalow a gorgeous beach part. Apart from that, we loved the food, a dream ☺... Enjoy it!
