I was in Dahab in October 2011, staying at another hotel nearby and came to SHAMS Diving Center by chance, to dive with friends and my 3 children! The place looked really different; clean, tidy, neat and cosy and the staff were more than wonderful; friendly, cooperative, flexible and so much doing their best to make us Happy. Although we were staying on BB basis at another hotel, we used to come daily to SHAMS restaurant to have their delicious breakfast!!

I had a lovely week in Shams in October 2011 with both my parents: The hotel was good and right at the sea. Clean rooms with a beautiful view, fresh water showers, excellent and friendly service. The diving at Shams Dive Centre very good as well: Well organized, brand new equipment, helpful and very friendly staff. I had such a good time at Shams that I immediately booked again! … read more

because of the size you knew within a very short time all the staff and everyone was without exception really nice and very hard-working. Since it is not a 5 starcomplex acts, it could just happen, that eventual a towel or similar was missing. A short instruction and the small problem was immediately fixed. The Communication was in English possible. The rooms was cleaned daily, change of towels also daily, bed sheets change on request ( on demand ). When other problems, questions etc. you could at any time at shams ( owner of the hotel ) shall apply, the … read more

In sum, I liked the hotel very much. It is run by a Austrian and is therefore very German and make you feel right at home, because the waiters and surrounding area very European designed are. Furthermore, the low prices.
It is simply nice at the Sound of the waves at night to sleep, because the Hotel and the area of the restaurant right on the sea, where you had an early morning at the Sunrise and sunset food. Most of the coast is just … read more

As a base for a diving or snorkeling holiday great. Staff speaks perfect English or depending on the presence of Christopher (Austrian) or both, you feel like you are at home.
