Mendoza for round trip highly recommendable

Mendoza is a pretty city and base for many excursions, for example the Aconcagua. This all-day excursion is not to be missed! Also Mendoza itself has a nice pedestrian precinct with many restaurants ( and many beggars!). The hotel is mediocre. The front desk incompetent. We booked through the tour operator months in advance a hotel room. The booking was many hours later after our arrival found. We were upgraded as a result (and, because apparently almost sold out) a small narrow room. After chairs and a waste paper basket we had to first ask, received this only on the … read more
