The hotel is located at slope with a great view. To the train station it is only a couple of minutes on foot. The hotel makes a clean and well maintained impression. We booked for the end of our winter holidays nor 3 days in bad herrenalb spent. The frontdesk was very friendly; the four star superior house is located in excellent condition. The wellness area is new; 3 different saunas, a really big pool and a large jacuzzi leaves nothing to be desired. Breakfast and dinner (half board) were very varied; the dishes nicely presented. Guest parking in the underground garage under the hotel for 4 euros per night was just in the winter very pleasant. Location
This family-friendly business hotel provides comfortable relaxation in a unique setting above the roofs of Bad Herrenalb, in the northern Black Forest, the biggest nature park in Germany. Guests will find restaurants, bars, bus and train stations, a park and shops all within a 5-minute walk. Nearby towns include Karlsruhe (20 km), Baden-Baden (22 km), Heidelberg (70 km), Strasbourg and Stuttgart (both 80 km away). It is 20 km to Baden-Baden Airpark.
Facilities
Guests can indulge in the fine art of living in an outstanding hotel - a haven of tranquillity where they can rest and relax and enjoy a splendid scenic view of the Black Forest. The hotel offers 100 rooms, 15 conference and party rooms, the La Vie restaurant, the Heidelberger Stube bar, a quiet room with self-service tea, and a cable car to and from the train station in Bad Herrenalb. Further facilities available to guests at the air-conditioned conference hotel include a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom, lift access and a café. Guests may also make use of the WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, a car park and a garage (fees apply).
Rooms
All rooms are furnished exquisitely and have a private balcony or terrace. For added convenience all rooms offer desks and a telephone with DSL-PC cable. Each room additionally features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, double bed, satellite TV, a radio, Internet access, safe and minibar, ironing set and individually regulated heating.
