• Location
  The hotel is located in the heart of Munich, close to the world-famous Theresienwiese, the setting for the Oktoberfest. The hotel is directly opposite the famous Augustiner Bräustuben. The main station is only a 15 minute walk away, and the city centre with the Marienplatz (the main square), the Frauenkirche (Cathedral Church of Our Lady), the Viktualienmarkt (daily food market) and Karlsplatz is a similar distance away. Hackerbrücke station is only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

  All the hotel's bedrooms are non-smoking and have modern amenities. We offer accommodation is single and double rooms, shared rooms or a dormitory. All rooms have their own bathroom with a shower and toilet, and are equipped with a TV set. In the dormitories, showers and toilets are separated.

  The hostel is the place to go for affordable accommodation with modern comfort and a young feel, in Munich's city centre. The hostel is in the direct vicinity of the most interesting historical, cultural and architectural highlights, such as Marienplatz and the Frauenkirche (cathedral), Viktualienmarkt, Karlsplatz (‘Stachus’), Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest) and the Pinakothek der Moderne.

  Renovated in 2004, the hostel is surrounded by gardens and is spread over 6 floors with 94 rooms. The inviting lobby offers guests a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a cloakroom and a currency exchange facility. In addition, there is a bar and 2 lifts for hotel guests. Furthermore, there is a WLAN access point and 2 public Internet terminals are also to be found within the hotel. Guests can enjoy the hotel's own terrace with a stunning view of the skyline with an alpine panorama. Bicycle and inline skate hire services round off the services offered and there is a car park and garage available for those arriving by car.

  From Franz-Josef Strauss Munich Airport take the underground line S1 (direction Ostbahnhof) or S8 (direction Nannhofen). Exit at the Hackerbrücke station. From the central station (Hauptbahnhof), take any S-Bahn line just one station to the Hackerbrücke station. Guests can also use the tram 18/19 and get out at station Holzapfelstrasse.
