We stayed one night in the Hotel Alpha the 'christmas market' on vienna Rathaus to visit. For this is this hotel really perfect, because there were only a 5-minute walk to Rathaus and also the Stephansdom we were then in about 12 minutes walk. So the location is in the winter, as well as in the summer certainly perfect! Also the subway-station 'Rathaus' is in 3 minutes from the hotel to reach!

Good hotel in ideal location for those on a city break behind the Rathaus ( through the volkspark 7 minutes footpath imperial palace). Clear urinstein and limescale in the toilet, otherwise clean, greatly reduced pressure in the 5. Obergeschoss. In-room safe, mini bar, tv and air conditioning ( absolute must under the roof!). Rich breakfast buffet in the room price included.

The Hotel Alpha is very cheap (3 minutes to the subway or Streetcar ), it is very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, for breakfast nothing is missing.
The room (407) is small, the passage bed- wall very narrow (about 40 to 50 centimeters), for a city break but sufficient. The beds are very good, the furniture relatively new, unfortunately little places to put things ( no drawer ).
Large safe (free), notebook and camera fit purely, normal TV, air conditioning, worked well.
