In november 2012 we were in the Riu Palace las americas. In the hotel was so far everything okay. A big minus point was however the stench in the room (a mixture of the odor from gestockter laundry and sweat).
We have already after a short time found out, that the really disgusting odor, we always in the room had, from the couch irish. When we asked, that you ask something change may, offered a different room at.
The alternative rooms have we are right and noted, that it exactly disgusting smelled-also because of the couch. We the kerlchen at the front … read more

Very friendly, helpful staff, the speaks perfect English. You could get along with German however not far. So much service is one of at home actually not at all used to. The rooms, but also the entire area included beach are perfectly maintained and very clean.The buffet-restaurant was just great. So much choice one has rarely. There were also different restaurants with service, but quality definitely not better. We visited since steak-house, but not so much convinced.

Hello again,
we had stayed in a riu hotel in Playa del Carmen, then we were after 10 days said, because the hotel was so strong overbooked we have, in a better after Cancun in the riu palace America want the much better is, well, we have us meant that sounds good we do that. When we arrived we were surprised how nice it was. Bare a hack was at the story, this hotel has apparently damp rooms on some floors and our was very smelly as in an old moldy hotel.
